Once upon a time, there lived a boy named 

Hunter. Hunter loved trucks. He and his trucks did 

everything together. He had a lot of trucks between 

fire, police, and construction trucks. Every year for 

Christmas, he would get new trucks from his family. 

But Hunter's trucks are not like normal trucks- They 

are heroes. When Hunter plays with his trucks, they 

come to life and play with him.Everyone knew 

about these trucks and they did many missions for 

other people. 

Hunter's trucks are so amazing that when 

there is an emergency in his house, they 

are called to it. One day there was a 

major emergency. Hunter's favorite 

equilateral triangle. He loved it so much 

because he could never forget which side 

was bigger.No matter the rotation, it still 

would look the same. So Hunter put his 

trucks on a mission to find it. 

So off they went to find Hunter's triangle. 

They went down town and found nothing. 

It just so happened that they found every 

other shape under the sun that day. They 

found an octagon, trapezoid, and even a 

right triangle. One of Hunter's trucks said 

"Why don't we just give Hunter the right 

triangle." Another truck said "No we can't, 

because it's a right triangle. If you rotate 

it, it will look different every time." They 

said that Hunter will notice.      

As night fell, the trucks decided to call 

it a night. They felt disappointed 

because the transformation on Hunter's 

face would be bad. He would not be 

happy when nothing was found. So 

they decided to get on back home and 

hopefully make better progress 

tomorrow.

Back at the house, the bad news was told to 

Hunter. Hunter was disappointed, but he was 

grateful that they tried. That was when 

Hunter's mom came along and thanked his 

trucks for their hard work. She then said to 

Hunter, "You may get a new shape. I will get 

you a parallelogram." She said it's just like a 

triangle because all the sides are equal and no 

matter the way you turn it, it still looks the 

same. Hunter said, "But it's not the same." 

Disappointed, Hunter headed to his room to 

come up with a solution.
