To everyone who reads this, remember to always keep standing, no matter how hard it is.

There was once a girl named Grace. Grace was 13 years old and she loved to adventure. She is a care free girl who could care less about danger. Grace had 2 friends and their names are Jessie and Monica. Monica could be rude sometimes, but Jessie was the very nice to Monica and Grace. Monica had been a bad influence to Grace, since she would travel the world and go to places without her parents knowing. It had taught Grace to do the same, since then her parents have never caught her. Jessie has told Grace to stop and that it will get her in trouble soon, and she'll regret it. But Monica would convince Grace to do things she shouldn't. One time, Monica told Grace they would be going to Paris, which is about 4 hours away from them. Grace was hesitant, and Jessie tried to convince her not to, but his words were too weak. Her and Monica went anyway. And guess what? They got in trouble either way. They got caught by a police trying to climb the Eiffel Tower, and got escorted back home. Their parents found out, and they were shocked. Their parents were extremely mad and grounded them for a month.
When they were not grounded anymore, Jessie, Monica, and Grace all met up. "Did you guys hear about those mermaids spotted on that cove?" Monica said, "Jessie and Grace, I know ya'll should've came with me." She said, rolling her eyes. "But Monica, you know that's dangerous. Grace would have come with you if it wasn't for me." "Yeah yeah, if it wasn't for you Grace would have had the time of her life, and so would you." Monica said. "She would have the time of her life being punished for a month again?" Jessie added. "Guys, guys, stop arguing it's getting us no where. Also it was my choice to not go." Monica sighed, "You really should come with me! It will be an amazing adventure..." Grace and Jessie just stared at her, waiting for her to say something else. "And I heard there are mermaids, ooooh!" She added. "WHAT? Mermaids!" Grace said. Mermaids have been Grace's favorite creatures since she heard of them. She has always wanted to see one in real time, even if people said they were not real. Just the fact that they were part human-part fish, and their scaly tails, and their wavy hair. Grace have dreamed of being friends with one.
"You might just get a mermaid friend!" Said Monica with a grin. "But it's too dangerous!" Said Jessie "Wait, it might be a good idea." Said Grace. "If I go I might see a mermaid. You know I've always wanted to do that." "Fine, but you should really rethink your choices, Grace!" Jessie said. Monica just rolled her eyes and said "I'll give you guys time to figure it out, but just remember, Merrrrmaids!" Monica walked back home while Grace and Jessie walk towards her house. "Grace, if you go I should come too." He said. "Just in case you get hurt." "But I'm not going to get hurt! ...Monica might, you should bring the first aid kit." They both laughed at the memories of Monica being clumsy. "Remember that time when Monica tried to get one book at the bottom of the book pile, and knocked all the books over?" Said Grace. "Yeah! Hahaha!" They laughed uncontrollably. "Do you remember when Monica was fishing and she tripped and fell into the water?" Asked Jessie. "I remember! She had mud all over her, luckily she caught a fish... in her arms! Ha!"Said Grace. "She looked like that sea monster in that movie we saw, The Lockness Monster 2!" Jessie Added.
They both laughed and laughed until they were out of breath. "I think we should head home now." Said Grace. "Your parents are out, right?" "Yeah, they're out on a 'date night' bleh!" Jessie said holding his mouth acting like he was going to vomit. "So maybe you should just stay at my house instead of being all alone." Grace said. "Sure!" They walked home and talked. "Do you really want to go to that cove?" Jessie asked. "Totally! I might see a mermaid. I would love to have a mer-friend." Grace said. "It sounds really fun, actually. We could all jump off the cliff and land into water!" Said Jessie. "YOU think that sounds fun? Jumping off a cliff sounds scary..." Grace said. "Ahh, it's only 5 feet off the ground." Jessie added. When they got home, they did a lot of homework. "Wow, Ms Champange gave us A LOT of homework!" Grace said. "Yeah it's like 10 pounds of paper!" Said Jessie. They joked and laughed and finally got done with their homework. "Oh, my parents are calling, I should go home now!" Said Jessie. "Oh, and Grace, you should really rethink going to the cove, it sounds fun."
Grace thought hard throughout the night about it. "Why does Jessie want to go so bad? What has Monica done to him? Has she hypnotized him or something?" And then she thought this... "You know what? I might meet a mermaid! I will go!" She stayed up all night thinking of meeting a mermaid. The mermaid she met in her dreams was named Lily. Lily had georgeus flowing hair, beautiful green eyes, and an amazing red tail. She dreamed of her and Lily talking, swimming together, and being friends. They were laughing, smiling, and splashing each other. Just then, Lily had a strange look on her face. Her eyes were wide open, and she dissapered. In thin air. Grace woke up. "Wow, that was a horrible dream! I hope that never happens again! And my dream was getting so good, I met a mermaid! I should tell Jessie and Monica about it. She got her phone out, and called them in a group call.
"Hey guys!" Grace said. "It's 6:00 AM." Monica said, as she rubbed her eyes. "Well, I don't care because I have an amazing dream for you, Monica!" Grace said, "We were at the cove, it was amazing! I even met a mermaid, and we became friends." "Oh, that's so cool." Monica said. You could hear that she was annoyed about waking up. "But then, she just disappeard! It was horrible, I really wanted to be friends with her."
"Well, like you said, it was just a dream.....", Monica yawned." Anyways, since we're already up, we might as well head to the cove. Unless Jessie convinced you that you shouldn't go because of the groundings?"
"No! I do want to go! Just as long we get back before lunch, and besides, I want to make friends with a mermaid!" Grace said.
"Okay! I'll just see if the others are coming, then we are on our way", Monica said.
"Great!"
