is for Anaerobic digestion
Some things do not need to be in the presence of oxygen in order to break down. Some products of this process are carbon dioxide and methane.

is for Bio-diesel
This kind of fuel is made from bio-mass! In order for our cars to use this fuel, they need to have a specially made engine that can use it. Though be careful, it will gel up a lot quicker than the good 'ol gasoline.

is for Carbon Dioxide

We exhale this stuff all the time. We are in a life-long relationship with trees. They give us oxygen and in return we give them carbon dioxide.
is for Dry Milling

If you haven't heard about dry milling, this is the dry version of wet milling. If you haven't heard about wet milling.. well.. then.. dry milling is the mechanical grinding of feed stock that does not user water.
is for Ethanol

Ethanol is a type of alcohol that is made up of two carbons. Ethanol can sometimes be used to run vehicles as long as the engine is specially made for it.
is for Fermentation

Alcohols are made through this process. There isn't much left to it... You'll learn the process in the near future, hopefully.
is for Glucose

SUGAR! YES! SUGAR IS AWESOME!
Glucose is commonly produced by living organisms.
is for Hydrogen Sulfide

Hydrogen Sulfide is poisonous and smells like disgusting, rotten eggs. A lot of the time, you could find it with petroleum deposits. It also is considered a contaminant to fossil fuels.
is for Igloo

I didn't know what else to put... Any ideas, Ms. Conner?
is for Joule

This is a measurement for energy. Kind of like inches, but for energy not distance.
is for Kangaroo

I didn't know what else to put... Any ideas, Ms. Conner?
is for Landfill Gas

This is a good one. Biogas (methane, carbon dioxide, and water vapor) that is produced the breakdown of organic material.
Do you have any idea what this means? Because I do not...
is for Methanol

No.. Just no..
Normal people call this wood alcohol. It is highly toxic and has a relatively low energy density.
is for Nitrogen

More elements! Woot!
A colorless, odorless gas made up of two nitrogen atoms put together with a covalent bond. Under high temperatures and pressures of combustion, it can combine with other compounds to become a pollutant. #globalwarming
is for Oxygen

We need it to breathe. We get it from trees in exchange for carbon dioxide that we exhale.
is for Photosynthesis

It is a big word, but it is literally just the process that plants go through when they make sugars from sunlight.
