“Stephen, dinner's ready, come out of that office, you’ve been working all day long at that desk,” demanded Tabitha. ”You must be exhausted.” As I walked out of my office, I nearly tripped over my garbage can, everything fell out since it tipped over, so I had to put all of the unfinished books and rejection letters back in it, I was furious. 

I turned off my music that I listen to while I work, I listen to “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree” all the time, it's a new song. Then, I sat down at my plate at the dinner table, ready to eat, but then, I get a phone call on my new cell phone

It was DoubleDay & Co on the phone, I recently sent my new book called “Carrie” about a creepy girl with powers no human could have, to them to try and get it published. They actually wanted to know more about me, I told them that I would write about myself and send it to them, I thought to myself, this is it, this is my time to shine.

Hi, my name is Stephen King, I was raised in Maine, born in 1947. I went to the University of Maine for college which was close to home. There, I got into writing by doing the school newspaper. I left the University of Maine with a degree for English in 1970 and began writing stories. I finally became an teacher in 1971, also marrying my lovely wife, Tabitha Spruce. Also I love politics and history, so, I am very interested in the Vietnam war and everything to do with it, we are so lucky since our president has just ended it with his speech. I’ll wrap this up now, you don't know how much it means for me to get my first book published, I’ve been struggling trying to get my first book published.
