One morning, little Billy woke up with a new friend. His name was Willy. Willy brought along some feelings that little Billy had never felt before. His tummy hurt, along with his head. He was shivering, but sweating at the same time and his neck was swollen. He decided to roll out of bed to tell his mother, when he noticed a booboo on his leg.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Yelled Billy.

"Yes, sweetie?" Answered his mother with a worried tone.

"I don't feel well," Billy replied while coming to sit on her lap.

She felt his forehead and said, "Oh Billy, you are very sick." She looked at his booboo on his leg Then said. "Come here, I've heard of something that might help. We will never know until we try it." She set Billy on the chair and got up. She grabbed an onion and chopped it in half.

"This might sting a little," Said his mom as she started to rub the onion on his booboo.

"Mom, have you met my new friend Willy? He is watching you do that." said Billy. He was trying to take his mind of the sting of the onion on his leg.

"Honey, what are you talking about? we are the only ones in the room." she answered back.

"But he is standing right there," said Billy as he pointed in Willy's direction.

"Oh no, its worse then I thought," replied his mom. "Your sickness is spread by rats or fleas, have you been around any of those things lately?"

"Well I did pet a stray cat outside of our house yesterday," Billy said.

"Oh Billy, well lets get you up to bed," ordered his mom. Billy stood up and went upstairs, with his new friend, Willy, following.

As Billy was climbing into bed, he asked, "Mom, were did my sickness come from?"
