It’s the year 3320, and we’ve been living on what NASA  call the second earth for 20 years now. But how did we get here? Well 120 years ago, I was 13 years old living in a beautiful house with my happy family that consists of my parents, my older sister and older brother.

When I was born everyone on earth had to wear oxygen masks to breath because the air was heavily polluted due to greenhouse gases from older generations, we can’t even swim in the oceans because they absorb so much carbon dioxide and before i was born the polar bears and penguins got extinct due to the glaciers melting.

NASA was trying to discover a safer way for humanity to live. But the thing that finished it all was the raining of asteroids.

Oh, how did it happen? Well NASA stated some asteroid/planetoids would pass earth. And it would get so close that we would see it in the sky, even though there is so much pollution in the atmosphere. That’s how close they were in orbit to the earth. Some of the larger asteroids had small rocks which we learned are actually moons.

For a few months we would see them and they stayed close and we didn’t really expect anything bad to occur. The asteroids had different sizes some were car sized asteroids, some were so small and some were as huge as a building. But we didn’t expect that they would all come crashing down at earth all at once.

NASA has been looking for another planet for YEARS even before I was born, and they transferred us to it as soon as possible. Oh, I’m getting ahead of myself, let me tell you the whole story.

First of all, my name is Natasha and I go to UAS in Kuwait. Me, Maddy and Kevin were just hanging around during recess with our friends, when we heard loud whizzing noises from the distance. They were getting closer, and so loud they hurt my ears. Maddy started screaming and pointed out in the distance, we all covered our ears as there was a crash on a building.

The whole school gathered to watch what happened. As we all were trembling in fear we heard police, firefighters sirens coming to see what happened. Soon our parents came to pick me and my siblings up.
