Davante the Magma's life began when he was deep down into the earth. He was born because of all the heat and pressure down there. He came out of the surface and went in a volcano, He was at a party with his friend named Mark the Magma. They were having a blast! They were shooting themselves out of a volcano high into the sky. On Davante’s 10th shoot he hit the side of the opening and fell all the way down the mountain down to the ground. Mark was heartbroken because his best friend had left him forever. Davante will never come back. As he landed on the surface, he hardend and got seriously injured. He couldn’t move and for years and years, he lay with no one to help him and he eroded away and became sediment. Once all his sediment settled, he became shale.

After sitting on the surface of the earth for a million years, he got pushed down deep into the earth and turned into slate. He turned into slate because of all the heat and pressure inside the Earth.

He got bored after being away from Mark for a long time, he grew mad and tired and decided to take a long “gniess” nap. During his nap, he went through many different metamorphic rock phases. After the nap, he became more “gniess” and calm. He then became the metamorphic rock gniess.
