Once upon a time there was a queen who had a daughter with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood and hair as black as ebony .
She was named Snow-White.
When she was born the queen died.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
Soon after, the king married another woman. She was beautiful and cruel.
She had a magic looking-glass and she used to look in it and say:
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?"
And the looking-glass would answer:
"You are the fairest of them all”
You, my queen, are fair; it is true! But Snow White is even fairer than you.
One morning the queen asked: "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?"
The mirror answered:
"You, my queen, are fair; it is true! But Snow White is even fairer than you."
Kill Snow White and return with her heart as proof !
The Evil Queen, jealous and angry, ordered the huntsman to take Snow White into the woods and kill her.
She demanded that the huntsman return with Snow White's heart as proof.
I'm unable to kill you!
Run, Run away!
Thank you!
The poor huntsman took Snow White into the forest, but found himself unable to kill the girl.
This is Snow White's heart!
He let her go and brought the queen the heart of a wild boar.
I'm alone in the great forest . I' m so scared! What can I do?
Where can I go?
Snow White was now all alone in the great forest and she didn' t know what to do.
Snow White began to run and she ran as far as her feet could carry her.
What a tidy house! Everything is so small!
Just as evening was about to fall she saw a little house and went inside.
Inside the house everything was small but tidy.
The owners of the house were the seven dwarfs.
If you'll keep all things in order, and cook, wash, knit and spin for us, you can stay with us!
We'll take good care of you!
After dark, the owners of the house returned home.
She told them what had happened and they allowed her to stay with them.

So Snow White lived happily with the dwarfs.
Every morning they went into the mountains looking for gold and in the evening, when they came back home, Snow White had their meal ready and their house tidy.
During the day Snow White was alone.
---Snow White
is still a thousand times fairer than you!
When the queen stepped before her mirror and said:
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Who in this land is the fairest of them all?"
It answered:
You, my queen, are fair; it is true!
But Snow White, beyond the mountains
with the seven dwarfs,
is still a thousand times fairer than you".
The queen realized that Snow White was still alive.
I sell laces of all colors...
Good-day my good woman, what have you to sell?
She disguised herself as a peddler , traveled to the dwarfs' house and knocked on the door.
Then she sold Snow White some new laces. Snow White let herself be laced with the new laces, but the old woman laced so quickly and so tightly that Snow White lost her breath and fell down as if dead.
Our dear little Snow White is lying on the ground....
When the dwarfs returned, they cut the laces, then she began to breathe a little, and after a while she came to life again.
When the queen learned from the mirror that the girl was still alive, she went into her most secret room and she made a poisoned apple.
She disguised herself as an old peasant woman, traveled to the dwarfs' house and knocked on the door.
When Snow White took a bite, she fell into a deep sleep.
When the dwarfs came home that evening they found Snow White lying on the ground. She was dead.
They cried all night and then built a glass coffin for Snow White.
They kept the coffin in front of the cottage.
One day a prince rode through the wood.
He saw Snow-white and fell in love with her.
Then he said to the dwarfs:
"Let me have the coffin, and I will give you whatever you like for it."
The seven dwarfs took pity on him and gave him the coffin.
The moment the prince picked up the coffin, the piece of poisoned apple fell from Snow White’s mouth and she awoke.
The prince took Snow White to his castle and they lived happily ever after.
