Early Childhood:
I was born in Arcadia, California - a suburb outside Los Angeles, California. I have two younger brothers and we are the weirdest together - but I love it.
Our mugshots aka "babyshots" ---> *I'm
the cutest one! ;)

One very specific memory I have is of my brothers and I playing basketball in the front yard. Our games were always competitive, fierce, and fun. One day, my brother made a move that caused me to trip over myself. I was so mad at him and my pants ripped! I was embarrassed and shocked that my little brother beat me.

When I was around nine years old, we got a beagle puppy. After "months" of begging, we finally got a puppy. My brothers and I were excited but we had no idea how much work, clean-up, and walks it would be. Even though we loved him, our parents felt we weren't ready yet so we had to give him away. =(

The Teenage Years
Being a teenager is hard, especially because things just start to get weird and unexplainable.
Here are my reasons things get weird:
Your friends become strangers...
Silly things become drama...
You don't know who you are anymore...
and ALL ADULTS ARE ANNOYING ...
S

I remember I had to give a presentation in 7th grade. I had never been so nervous in my life. It was about a math project and I remember I opened up with a riddle. One classmate made a rude remark while I was presenting. I was so hurt and surprised. We had been friends since 2nd grade and I never in my life thought she would be so mean. That's one time I knew that being a teenager would be hard.

During my Senior year of high school, I received an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. It was my first time to the Nation's capital and I was so excited. Taking a picture in front of the Lincoln Memorial and on the same steps that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. made his speech was so empowering! I knew I wanted to live here one day, or be as close as possible.
Fast forward to adulthood. I've had a variety of jobs, lived in amazing cities, and made incredible friends. A crazy memory is arriving in Pittsburgh, PA for college and knowing absolutely no one, but making the best friendships to this day. A kid from the suburbs of Southern California moving to Pittsburgh! It probably seemed like a crazy move for some people, but it was the best decision for me!

I still enjoy playing basketball, getting puppy kisses, visiting and living in new cities. That will never go away. Thanks and talk to you later!
