Where I Grew Up
Hello, my name is Zeba Fariha. I am 11 years old. I grew up in New York City Queens. I was born in a BIG hospital. When I was first born I lived in a small apartment, I lived with my aunt, uncle, cousin, and mom and dad. I loved where I lived, until 2years later I got my brother. After getting my brother me, my family, and my cousins family moved to a larger apartment. I also loved my larger apartment! It took me a few days to get used to where I live, besides I was only 2 years old!
My Family
When I grew up I had to share an apartment with my cousins family. Me and my cousin Shakif were 1 year older and smaller. Shakif was 1 year older than me and I was 1 year smaller than him. Then in about 2 years my baby brother was born , Ishtiaq Alvi. I was very lonely with my cousin, because Alvi got all the attention as a baby. My mother tried explaining to me that Alvi as a baby needed more attention. Then or lastly my other cousin was born, Amira. She was the youngest out of all of us.
That's me the one holding Amira the baby

School
I stared school when I was 4 years old, in pre-k though. I went to pre school in Bangladesh. I had a very hard time there because I didn't make many friends there, but I was one of the best children in the class room. After that I went back to America and attended kindergarten. I got the best teachers ever in kindergarten! My teachers were, Ms.Raico and Ms.Golstien. They were amazing! I was very quiet and nice to others. I didn't know what to do because I just came back from another country. Then I went to 3rd grade!
me in school!

Then I started 4th grade. 4th grade was rough for me because I got bullied. I didn't fit in so well because I came late to school for my summer break. I was really happy too, some of my long lost friends were there and I was actually so happy to see them after a long time, especially my friends from kindergarten. Latly now here I am in 5th grade making my parents really proud of me. To me I feel like that 5th grade was the best for me because I am dong outstanding on my grades. My teachers are Ms.Cipollina and Ms.Somers! they are the best!!!!
I loved being at 1st grade because of all the toys that we got to play with! After that I went to 2nd grade. I also had outstanding teachers there. Ms. Polanco and Ms. Yousapova. I was still really young at that time so I did well at my grades. Then comes 3rd grade the year I suffered the most! In 3rd grade my grades start mattering more because I had the state test for the first time ever in my life!!!!! This was really scary for me so the day I stared 3rd grade I knew that I was going to face this. I promised to myself I would work hard. I worked hard for all of 3rd grade, but I know that I did well, who knows I never got my grade back.
Friends!
iI honestly think that making friends was the best part about my childhood. I will start from who I met in kindergarten. I met Maida Islam at first who is my best friends still now as a 11 year old. We became friends at 5 years old that is a junior and now we are seniors and we are still best friends. Next I met a girl named Dayanara. She I mean is a really good friend to me. We by some reason Have unreasonable fights and then just laugh and make jokes about them. Dayanara is a really good friend to have by your side. Then I met a boy. His name is Daniel Pesantez.
He is also a really good friend to have by my side. We were in the same class multiple times , just like Dayanara. Fun fact about him, he always tries to find a way to annoy me, but not in a bad way a funny way. Next I met Nikki Lin. She is also a really nice friend. She would always have good and creative ideas of how to do things, that's what makes her who she is.
Next I met Leslie. She is a very pretty girl that was my friend for a pretty long time. Then I met Adamaris Zumba. Adamaris is the best friend a person could have, she is very nice and sweet to all people. She cares about my feeling a lot and no matter what she will be by my side. Then I met Shella
Shella is a twin to me. She was born on the same birthdate as me, we love the same things and we have a lot of things in common. We once got into a fight at one time, but I got over it. Then I met Jessica. Me and her are amazing friends. My more friends are, Kelly, Madeline, Rene...

Being A Muslim
Being a Muslim girl in my class in not easy. You need to face a lot of fears. Either people will judge you by your hijab or maybe ask a lot of questions about why you are wearing a hijab. I am lucky enough to fit in a class where that does not happen. My class is very respectful to me. My class wont ever try to pull down my hijab, but I did have a time when that happened. That happened to me about three times. I wont say the names of who did it, but at one time it was when someone pulled it when the who class was getting dismissed. Another time someone pulled it on the stairs and on the carpet.

My Dream!
I was always a young girl who had the wildest dreams. I normally would have more than 3 dreams! My friends would make fun of me that I wont be able to be more than one thing when I am a grown up, but I believe that I can. My biggest dreams of all is when I grow up I will make a cure for cancer. I already know that cancer is a really big issue and a lot of people are dying about it, and I honestly feel bad for those people who are healthy and good people that are dying from this cancer disease.

My struggles and things I am good at
For me I am a very strong person. I always have tried my best on all my new things that I have tried out. I most likely struggle on math. I know this because on my math tests I don't get the highest scores but I do well I mean, I try my best but I can tell when I am struggling at things. My strongest subject in school is ELA. My teachers would say that I have writing from out of this world and that makes me feel like I am a really strong writer. To me I also think that I am a really
