Today was the day Hermia, Hannah, 

Dylan, and Jacob were going on a field 

trip.

They were so excited the day was 

finally here. Their teachers Mr.Theo 

and Mrs.Hidi were taking them.

Hannah wore her favorite purple dress, 

and Hermia wore her brand new red dress. 

Hermia and Hannah were best friends. 

Jacob wore a white shirt and brown pants, 

and Dylan wore all tan. They all wanted to 

look nice for this special day.

The bus had finally arrived. Everyone 

crammed in to the bus and found themselves 

a seat.

Brett introduced himself 

them told the kids the 

safety rules for the bus. 

The drive to the park took a very 

long time. Their smiles lasted for 

every one of the miles though.

Brett talked to Mrs.Hidi and Mr. Theo the entire drive 

there. They talked about transportation safety and how he 

wanted to teach the kids about it in a way that could be 

fun and educational. He was thinking about teaching it in 

a play with other bus drivers.

Finally they arrived at the park. After the long ride 

everyone was happy to get off of the bus and 

stretch.

Everyone shuffled off the bus. Then they 

waved goodbye to Brett and started 

walking the trail to the park.

They walked the trail to the lunch area for lunch. 

On the way there Mrs.Hidi and Mr.Theo talked 

quietly about the groups they were going to put 

the kids in, mean while the kids were also talking 

about who they wanted to be partnered with. 

While the four kids were eating 

they met a a new person from 

another school. His name was 

Peter.

Hermia liked talking to Peter, after a 

while she found out he was the teachers 

assistant and quite the trouble maker.

After they were all done eating Mr Theo 

and Mrs.Hidi met Peters teachers 

Mrs.Tina and Mr.O'brian.

Mrs.Hidi and Mr.Theo went in to the lunch 

house to discuss who they were going to 

partner together. They decided to partner 

Hermia and Dylan together, and Hannah and 

Jacob together. 

When Hermia, Dylan, Jacob, and Hannah found 

out who they were partnered with they were very 

unhappy. They all started arguing and 

disagreeing with each other on pretty much 

everything.
