Once upon a time, there was a beautiful aboriginal girl called Anahí who lived on the banks of the Paraná river, in the Argentinian province of Corrientes.
She had a sweet voice and she used to sing melodious tunes to her tribe. Her songs caused awe and joy to her folk, who were very fond of her singing while they were at work.
But one cloudy afternoon, they started hearing some noises amongst the bushes. At the same time, it began to rain heavily. Everybody started running to their teepees to prevent from getting wet, without realizing that Anahí was being kidnapped by some strangers who were hidden behind some undergrowth.
The attackers had been watching and listening to the gorgeous young woman for several days. They wanted to capture her in order to enslave her. When the chief of the tribe noticed the absence of the young lady, he summoned his people and devised a plan to rescue her. They would wait until the guards fell asleep and then they would be able to free her.
Thus, all the tribe courageously prepared themselves to save Anahí. While all his people were fighting against the enemies, the Chief managed to open the cage where the girl was being kept as a prisoner without realising that a guard was standing behind him, and so, he got stabbed in the heart.
