This book is dedicated to Landon

Landon was eating gummy worms on his front porch. He was also listening to music with earbuds.

.

Joker was hiding in the bushes, and then he popped out, runs up to Landon and took his gummy worms.

“Stop, give them back.” Landon yelled.

After Joker takes Landon’s gummy worms, he runs down the street as fast as he can.

Batman was walking down the street listening to music and he saw Landon crying.

Batman walked up to him and asked, “What's wrong? Why are you crying?”

Landon said,”Because Joker took my gummy worms.”.

Batman said “Don’t worry I’ll help you get them back,” So Batman and Landon looked around town for a while and finally they found the Joker.

They found him walking down the street. They followed him into a restaurant.

Batman and Landon make up a plan. Landon asks, “Do you think it’s going to work?”

Batman says, “ Maybe.”

They walk into the restaurant and they can see him, but Joker sees them and runs out the door as fast as he can.

Joker jumped in a purple and green car and drove away. Landon wonders, “Now how are we going to catch him?”

“Hop in my Bat-mobile.” shouts Batman.

Joker is on the run, but Batman isn’t far behind him. Joker quickly turns into an alley. Batman does not see him turn. “Where did he go?” asked Landon!

“I don’t know, but we will find him.” replied Batman. He drives around for a while, but they can’t find him”
