Why are you so big?
is for Habitat Loss!

The main reason behind the endangerment of certain Hummingbird species is Habitat Loss. Every year, millions of acres of rainforest is destroyed, which can leave me with nowhere to go.

My nests are typically made up of twigs and bits of leaves, usually held together by spider web fibers. My tiny eggs rest in a nest only about an inch in diameter.

is for Omnivores!

I am an omnivore, which means I eat both producers and consumers. My diet consists of insects, leaves, and pollen.

is for Pollination!

My main main duty is to pollinate flowers. I prefer the flowers with long tubes that my long beak can fit into! Flowers rely heavily on me to maintain homeostasis.
