Introduction

In this presentation you will learn about weapons and how to make them, tools, mining, attacking, how to craft important stuff, learn about armor, how to make enchanted weapons/armor, food and how to cook it, and last but not least how to make an 8 step house. It might seem like a lot but really it is not. Let's! Get! Started!

Basic Crafting

This slide just shows four things you need to know how to craft when you are reading the rest of this presentation. There is more crafting on the other slides.

Weapons

Some of the basic weapons include: Swords, pickaxes, axes, shovels, bow and arrows, dispensers, flint & steel, lava bucket, TNT. But they also have their own values and certain ways of using them.

Crafting Weapons

This is how to craft swords in minecraft. with the iron sword, you have to mine iron ore, which is usually found in caves. You would mine it with a stone pickaxe, and smelt it in a furnace. Same with the golden sword, but gold ores are found way deeper into the ground than iron ores. Bring lots of ladders, pickaxes, (Iron pickaxe, stone pickaxes, wooden pickaxes) and never dig straight down. Same thing with diamond. But once again, diamond is REALLY deep. And with a diamond ore, you can only mine it with an iron pickaxe and a diamond pickaxe.

Bow and Arrows

The main advantage of a bow and arrows is that, unlike a sword, you can use it from a distance and keep out of range of your enemy's attack. Creepers are one example. Also skeletons and witches.

Flint: If you mine gravel, you will sometimes get this.

Feather: Chickens drop feathers.

String: Spiders will drop this if you kill one.

Armor

Armor is also very important. It can protect you from all sorts of things. Especially mob attacks.

Armor can protect you from mob attacks, arrows, explosions, other players, fire and lava, cacti.

This is how to craft a full outfit of armor.

Leather: Kill cows, llamas, horses, and you can trade with villagers.

Enchanted Weapons/Armor

Weapons and armor can be enchanted to improve their strength and performance and to give you a real edge over your opponents. Obsidian you can mine if you get a water bucket and poor it over a pool of lava. But you can only mine obsidian with a diamond pickaxe.
