Billy: Hi Mr. Smith

Mr. Smith: Hey Billy , how are you doing on this fine morning?

Billy: Thanks for asking , but I am okay I just need to talk to you for a quick minute.

Mr. Smith: Okay , I'm listening.

Billy: Some of my friends got mad at me because they said I am bipolar.

Mr.Smith: Well do you think you are?

Billy: I don't know much about being bipolar. All I know is that , your mood changes a lot.

Mr. Smith: Well that's what I'm here for.

Mr. Smith: Bipolar disorder is a mental disorder marked by alternating periods of elation and depression. Are you depressed a lot?

Billy: Yes , you know high school is getting the best of me. With everything going on with school work, relationship, events like prom, and stuff.

Mr. Smith: It's okay everything is going to work, just keep your head, and keep pushing.

Billy: Yes sir, but I'm still mad about this bipolar thing.

Mr. Smith: Well bipolar disorder shifts mood in energy and activity levels that can make your every life hard.

Billy: I know and that why I feel like I really might be suffering from this. I feel like everything I do is wrong or in some sort of fashion.

Mr. Smith: Well try to think of something that makes you happy and do fun activities when your not in school.

Billy: I will.

Mr. Smith: Have you tried taking medicine.

Billy: No, I did not know there was medicine.

Mr. Smith: Yes , their is medicine .

Billy: What else is there about this disorder?

Mr. Smith: Well some people may start to hallucinate. This can also cause you to feel weird, missing school, thinking you can do anything, make you aggressive most times, a sense of distraction or boredom.

Billy: Ahh , I can relate to most of these symptoms.

Mr. Smith: It's fine, there are other students that suffer from bipolar disorder.

Billy: I know , but I don't like it, because my friends are going to judge me.

Mr. Smith: Well they aren't your real friends if they are going to judge you.
