Dedicated to my friends for excepting and encouraging me and my wackiness.

Bam! The car door went as it slammed shut. I was going to college to setup my dorm before my first day. I didn’t know if I was ready or if I even had all my stuff ready and together, but I didn’t care I was too excited.

When I got there I couldn’t find my dorm room so I was carrying the heaviest box looking for my dorm when all of a sudden a bird pooped on my head.”It’s not even my first day yet.”. Then I finally found my dorm my roommate wasn’t there yet so I didn’t get to meet her. When I was done setting up my dorm it was late, so I decided to go to bed. The next morning as I was getting ready for class I heard a knock so I went to open the door when I opened it, it was my roommate Monica and she had a little brown monkey on her shoulder. She helped me get ready and I helped her get set up. When she started to sit on the bed, I said, “It would be more comfortable to sit on the ground.”. “Why would it be more comfortable there?” she asked. “Because last night I stayed here and the bed was as hard as a rock.”. “How are we going to survive?” she said jokingly. Then off we went to class.

In my first class I was late and the grumpiest teacher, I have ever seen, yelled at me for not being responsible enough to get to class on time in front of everybody it was so embarrassing, but luckily Monica was with me so it wasn’t like I was the only one late or that got yelled at. As I was looking for a seat Monica got the last chair towards the back so I had to sit up front next to most annoying teacher’s pet. Every time I knew the answer I wouldn’t be called on but every time I didn’t know the answer he called on me. EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! It was so annoying. At the end of class I had so much homework to do. It was insane. I met this really cool girl that is in my class and she said that she could come over to help me study later.

I got back to my dorm and checked out my roommate’s monkey Lily Bob. I realized that the monkey was the size of my hand and had a cute little white stripe on his forehead. The smell of the monkey’s stinky poop got so bad that I had to say “Goodbye” to the little monkey. I started to look over my notes and I was so confused. “Monica, can you help me go over my notes?”. “Sure, just a second I have to get them out.”
