Alexander's Adventurous Day at College
Dedicated to everyone who makes me fear college and to the hope that there wrong

A red sun rises, blood has been spilt, as more kids from high school go to suffer through college. Unfortunately I'm among them. Every year on this day the August the 15th, millions of kids go to their last stage in school that is most commonly known as college. I have not heard very great things about college the only reason I'm going is because my guidance counselor said I’d be a good lawyer.I already regret listening to her.

“BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ” the alarm went as it rudely woke me up. As I woke up I started to remember that today is a new day, but not just any new day. It’s a special new day. It's the first day of college. I got out of bed and got dressed in some clothing that I hope is college appropriate. It was a green t shirt with some brown pants to go with it. I went upstairs dreading the fact that I am going to have to drive myself to a new form of suffering even worse than 7th grade.

When I was walking upstairs my mom was telling me,
“At least you're not going to live in the dorms.” she chuckled nervously.
“Don’t worry I’ll be safe I hope ” I responded “I'm not gonna lie. I’m very scared about this,” I said with a hint of fear.
“You'll be fine as long as you stay away from the girls” my mom warned me jokingly.
“Ok got it“ I reassured her but that didn't seem to help her much.

I grabbed my car keys and went to the garage and there may be my favorite thing I've ever seen. There I saw my dad next to a red sedan with a sunroof and blue flames on the sides.
“Hey Alex like your new car?” he asked me.
I dropped my keys and went to hug him. I was so shocked my mouth couldn't grab the words from my brain and follow through.

“Here's your keys,” my dad said while handing me a silver object that activated the brand new vehicle.
“Thank you” I finally exclaimed in a burst of joy. I grabbed the keys and jumped into the car. It smelled like it was straight from the factory and I pressed the beige ignition button and then there was a quiet roar startling me as I backed out of the driveway.

As I drove into my college it was oddly empty. I wondered why, then I looked at my phone to check my schedule but I was welcomed by a text from my professor asking me where I was.
