Daring to keep going, Daily Dorm life, never Done learning
This book is dedicated to Mya Paul, She has pushed me to keep going and never giving up, Never has she put me down, Not once. She is my best friend

Did you know that 60% of college kids drop out of college? I won’t be a part of that 60%. I slowly walked up and took a deep breath. I walked to my dorm and was welcomed by my Dorm Mate. I set my stuff on my bed and introduced myself to her, We had a very nice conversation.

I woke up in the middle of the night to people in the hall SCREAMING at each other. I tried to roll over, but I just couldn’t do it. The bed was as hard as sleeping on hay. It’s not a nice feeling, But I fell asleep. In the morning I got up and hit my toe on the edge of my bed trying to make my way to the bathroom. It was so small in this room. I finally got out of the dorm and started to the bathroom, I got lost a couple of times but with help from someone I found it. I showered and got dressed, I made my way to the Dining Hall and ate my breakfast.

I was getting through the hallways to my Third class, Math (I had Science before this class). I accidentally bumped into someone and dropped all of my papers and books. They didn’t bother to help me out. I picked up all of my papers, Sadly they all had footprints on them. I looked at my watch and sighed, I’m 5 minutes late. I walked into class and got lectured by the Teacher. I took my spot in the back of the class and sighed.

When Math was over I had one more class then I can go back to my dorm. I ran into my old friend Marcie. She was quite mad at me for no reason. I asked her what was wrong and she said “Leave me alone. We aren’t friends, So why are you talking to me.”

I sighed and walked to my next class, History. We got a beginning class quiz, (It’s a quiz to give a light push to get started in a class) I think I got most of the questions right. Finally I was able to go back to my dorm.
I put my bag on my bed and grabbed a small snack and sat on my bed. I pulled out my Math homework, And got that done. I still have History homework, Science homework, And Health class homework to do.
