Nuran's Nervous, Never ending Day
This book is dedicated to my dog, Nova for always making me happy.

When I first walked into my dorm I felt nervous and I had butterflies in my stomach as I unpacked the rest of my stuff. I wanted to be ready for my class that day and I didn’t want anything to go wrong. When my stomach started to grumble I went into the kitchen and got something to eat. That dorm was going to be my new home for the next four years. This is how my first day went.

I woke up to my noisy alarm that woke me up from my nap that I took before my first class. I opened my eyes enough that I could see the ceiling. A panic ran through me and I jerked upright. It took me a few seconds to process where I was and why I was here. Then I was about to go back to my nap when I remembered I had a class. I looked at my clock as I got up, having at most 30 minutes to get ready and to get to class. As I got up, my roommate, Sara, came in with her backpack and books in her hands. She looked rushed and tired. She walked to her side of the room and started reading a big textbook. I quickly got ready for my first class. I grabbed my backpack and rushed out of my room. I had only fifteen minutes left to get to class. I walked past the loud and noisy dining hall, smelling the delicious food when someone bumped into me and everything in my hands fell to the ground.

Papers flew everywhere and I felt more rushed than ever. They came over to me, said sorry and they helped me gather my things a little bit. I could feel the wind as they ran past me. I looked at my watch; I had five minutes to get to class.

The hallway to my class was crowded with people as I pushed my way to my classroom door. It seemed like it took forever to get to my classroom. As I walked inside the classroom it was only half full. I picked a spot not too close to the front, but far enough where the teacher would notice me but not call on me. The bell rang and the teacher started right away. He said his name and told us what we would do in our class. Then after what seemed like an eternity, he told us to start taking notes. Some people got paper out while others got out their computer. This girl came late to class and sat next to me. She asked me what she missed and I caught her up as I got my computer out. Right when I got my computer ready he started talking again. I typed frantically as he talked. Eventually, class was over and the teacher dismissed us. I looked at my schedule, and to my surprise, I had other class right after this one that was on the other side of the school. I ran out and started heading towards my next class.
