I was running across the campus hoping that I wouldn’t be late for my first college class. In my mind I was wondering how I had slept in and not realized I was late for class before I got in the shower. When I got to the building the door was locked. I kept pulling the door handle, but it wouldn't budge. One hour earlier...

It was my first day of classes at Michigan and I woke up on my squishy and lumpy bed. The night before I could barely get to sleep. All through the night I kept waking up either to arrange myself somewhere else on my bed or I was just worried for class. The only time I got sleep was when I wasn’t sleeping in my bed. My roommate Ally had  already been up and ready for our first class and had left. I still had to go to the smelly showers before class. I was not looking forward to shower. The showers smell rotten. The showers were one of the only things I did not like. When I got out of the shower, I realized I was late for class.

I got dressed and started running across the campus hoping that I wouldn’t be late for my first college class. I kept pulling the door handle but, it wouldn't budge. Eventually my professor Mrs. Swenson opened the door, I was so embarrassed.

My first class was so stressful my professor Mr. Swenson lectured us on the first class I was really surprised. I chose a spot in the back because I didn’t want to get called on a. But even though I was in the back I still got called on to answer questions. All we did was take notes that day. After class I was trying to find a place to work on my homework. I went to the Library because I thought it would be a quiet place to be. When I got there I decided to check out some books. After that I worked on my homework for a couple of minutes.
