“Hello?, wake up!” I slightly opened my eyes to find a man in my face, I bolted upright “what are you doing!” I questioned. Then I started to remember I had been on a bus to Stanford. He must be the driver. I apologized for my rudeness and got up, and grabbed my bags. After again apologizing, I went off to find my dorm.

I finally found my dorm with the help of some random peers. I opened the door and saw a man sitting on one of the beds. “Hi, I’m Jerome” I told him. He didn't answer so I decided to leave him alone and put my bags in a corner. It was getting late, so I laid on my bed and fell asleep. I awoke to a light in my eye. I forced myself out of bed and looked at the clock. It was only 6 am. I looked at the guy with the flashlight and asked, “Why did you wake me up!”. Again my roommate didn't say anything, so I grabbed my backpack and did some homework.

Once I finished, I looked over at my roommate and noticed that his backpack had a name on it. Derick “Derick why won't you talk?” I questioned. He looked over and said, “Shut up, and don't say my name!” How rude I thought. I looked over on the clock and it said 7 am, so I picked up my backpack I told derick I have to go to class. On my way to class I thought about how rude derick had been I was so focused on derick I hadn't noticed what time it was. i continued to class unknowing of what time it was when I walked into the door my teacher was talking to the class “your late” she scolded “I am?” I asked looking at my watch “yes, do you at least have your homework?” she asked “of course i have my home” I looked in my backpack and noticed I had no homework i must have left it in the dorm. “That's what I thought. Now, go sit down.” She said. So much for having a good day.
