I wake up and I become a nervous wreck realizing this is the scariest day of my life. I had a dream that everything would go completely wrong but I think everything will go according to plan. I’ll get there and start a new fresh life for the next couple years. I woke up a little earlier than my alarm clock so I get startled by the BEEP BEEP BEEP.

It’s the first day of college and I have all my stuff neatly organized into boxes, they will probably move around while I’m driving to college but I tried. Now I get to put on my new outfit I got at the mall. I’m wearing ripped jeans with a white long sleeve shirt and a red and black flannel tied around my waist. I go down the hall and grab my boxes and pack them into the car, after that I went back inside and grabbed my keys, I go to my car and start it, then I’m off to college. I roll up to Concordia College and I see the beautiful colors of red and yellow. I walk into the dorm building and tell a professor my name and he helps me find my dorm room. When I walk into my dorm I find it neatly and colorfully decorated by my roommate. My roommate's name is Ashley, she is going to be on my volleyball team and I’m very excited. “Hi! You must be Gabby! I’m Ashley as you probably know, I hope you don’t mind that I decorated the place!” Ashley says with excitement. I smile and she begins to laugh with me.”It’s fine I love decorating too, and it looks really nice!” I say.

I begin first by making my bed, my sheets have pastel blue flowers with an off white color in the background. Next I unbox all my clothes into the closet along with all my shoes. I put my backpack on my back and look at my schedule, my first class of the day is vet class then I have an hour to do homework, it shouldn’t be that hard right? I thought to myself about how this day will go.

After I looked at my schedule I walked to my first class. I saw some old friends along the way but they didn’t recognize me. When I walked into the class on the board the instructions said to grab an animal textbook, some lined paper, and write notes on how to do surgery on animals. I flipped to page 304 and read till page 334, when I finished reading I filled in notes. After about an hour of writing notes I walk up to my professor and show him my notes and ask if there good, his expression was shocking like he’d just seen someone get murdered, “This is remarkable! You did half of this weeks work in an hour! You don’t have to come to this class for the next two days you filled in so many notes!” he was almost shouting when he said this. I was so happy I did a little dance and me and my professor both laughed.I gathered all my stuff up and I said to my professor “Have a good day!” He gave me an approving nod and smiled. I won’t have to go to that class for two days! I thought to myself.

I have 30 more minutes until my first volleyball practice so I just listened to music on my bed. When the time came I grabbed a t-shirt, black spandex, my knee pads and I found my way to the gym. The gym was a big cold room with red and yellow colors all around. I found my teammates and my coach. The coach talked for half an hour about what we're gonna be doing when we play volleyball for her like playing our best and not letting anyone down. It turns out I didn’t need to bring anything, our first actual practice was tomorrow at 10:00. A girl walks over to me after our coach is done talking and introduces herself, “Hey my name is Lily! There’s a party for our whole team tonight if you wanna come.” I thought to myself well I don’t have any homework but a party on the first day of college? “Yeah i'll go thanks for asking me.” She gives me a cheesy smile and I walk out of the gym. The halls are full with guys and girls asking about how there first day went and as I’m walking down the hall I drop all my stuff on the ground and it makes a big BOOM sound.
