Chapter 1: And So It Begins

Hey there. I'm Lucas. Me and Marc, My friend, are hiding from the robot invasion. Yes, I said robot invasion. It all started during the science fair, when my robot malfunctioned, and started destroying stuff. It ran out of the school and turned to go in the direction of the flag. "Lucas! No time for a flashback! Are we going to find Robo or not?" Marc asks. "Fine. Just be careful. Stay by my side." We run out of the house just as an explosion comes from my neighbor's backyard. "Help! The flowers are explosive!" My neighbor's daughter yells, running out of the house. "No, they aren't. It's just the robots. I think you might need to get somewhere safe, like the basement." They run to the basement as another robot explodes. "What is causing all of this? I think we might need to check the base." We ran to the base, but before we got there, a robot, swooped in and grabbed Marc. "Wow. That was

ironic." Marc says, as he is whisked into the air by the robot. "Darn. I thought it would put up a fight." Someone says, in a voice I recognized. "Dude! That scared me. Don't do that again." I say. "Besides. When did you get here?" "I was here the whole time!" He says. Oh yeah. I didn't introduce you to Jaden, the Pyro. He has been able to withstand fire since birth, nobody knows how though.  "Dude, what are you doing anyway?" He asks, even though he was watching. I gotta admit, he has bad eyesight. "Why are you not wearing glasses?"
