It was an ordinary day in Australia. It was sunny and 85 degrees fahrenheit. The kangaroos were fighting in the distance. My flight crew and I were outside enjoying the sun before we had to board our plane the next morning and go back to Iceland. Sometimes I get sick of traveling, I miss my daughter and my hometown. Know that I have one of the best jobs in all the airlines, but I just wish I could spend more time with my daughter. The people that I work with are very hard working ladies, and are very nice!

Kate is a small town girl that only knew about the big world because she traveled all the time while she was growing up. She always gives me good advise and I can always count on her. She has long brown hair and big blue eyes. She's the kind of girl that is wild, and is always up to do anything! Clare is a genius that went to Harvard, with a 150 IQ. Besides how intelligent she is, She has Survival skills for almost anywhere in the world, whether it's in the city or in the middle of nowhere!

The three of us work so well together, our passengers always love us, but of course there is always something that ruins the tone in the air, and that's Brittany. Brittany is very snotty. She grew up in a very wealthy family in Hollywood. Her parents basically bought her way into this job. When all of us flight attendants are on a flight, and we are all serving all the passengers, Brittany walks down the aisle with the snack and beverage cart, and has a big fat fake smile on her face.

When all of us are on our off days in-between flights in some foreign country, it is always nice to have a few days to vacation in the hot sun. Little did I know that the next day on our flight to Iceland everything would change.

Bright and early we woke up to a phone call. It was only the front desk, telling us that we had to leave in 45 minutes to be at the airport on time. All of us went to bed very late the night before because it was our last night in Australia for awhile. Kate woke up with a terrible headache, and had to take so medicine to help her get through the day of work ahead of us. We quickly put all of our belongings in our suitcases, got ready, and hurried out the door.

When we arrived at the airport it was a normal day at work, we had breakfast, changed into our uniforms, and went through security. Going through security, as always was crazy, there were 1000's of people trying to get through so they could board their planes. We get to go through the sky priority line for security, since we work here, and it goes faster than the normal line! Most people in the airport were crabby since it was morning, and everyone just wanted to get to where they were off to. After 45 minutes we finally got to the front of the line, and took off our shoes, took our computers out of our bags, and went through the metal

detectors. Our whole flight crew got through, and we started to put our shoes back on, and all of our stuff back in our bags. We started to head to our boarding gate. As we were getting to our gate you could tell that the passengers were eager to board the plane. We walked past all the passengers that were boarding so we could get all the cabins ready. As always the first class passengers board before the rest of the passengers. After they got on the plane the rest of the passengers came on. We made sure that everyone was comfortable, and that we had all the luggage. Then we all made sure that everything was working properly for takeoff. Finally Clare told the Captain that we were ready for takeoff.

Our aircraft finally reached 10,000 feet, and I made an announcement that passengers could use wifi and have their tray tables down. People immediately started taking their laptops out and connected to wifi. Since it was morning most of the passengers slept for the first 2 hours of the flight, so we didn't do the snack and beverage cart till the majority woke up. Brittany and I served first class and Clare and Kate took the back of the plane. Working first class is hard work because the passengers that sit there usually have high expectations.
