My Hippolyta, we shall marry!
Yes, but what should we do about Hermia?

"Hippolyta! Our wedding is only four days
away! I cannot wait to become man and wife,
and spend all eternity with you!", proclaims
Theseus.
"Oh Theseus, The next four days will be
torture as we await our wedding", says
Hippolyta.
"Theseus! You must talk some sense into my
daughter. I have ordered her to marry
Demetrius and she refuses to do so!", shouted
Egeus.
"Egeus, you must tell your daughter, Hermia,
that she will marry Demetrius, die, or become
a nun forever. Tell her she has four days to
decide.", orders Theseus.

But I love Lysander!
"My daughter, Hermia, I have spoken with
Theseus and he has given you the following
options: marry Demetrius, become a nun,
or die. Theseus has given you 3 days to
make your decision. "
"But dad! I don't like Demetrius I love
Lysander. How dare you make me make
these decisions! Lysander here is who I will
marry, not Demetrius. I will do everything
to make this possible." exclaims a very
upset Hermia.

So that's it, we run to the forest

"Lysander, my father and Egeus have proclaimed that I
marry Demetrius, join a convent, or die! I want to marry
you!", professes Hermia.
"What if we both ran away, outside of Athens? We could
then marry and spend our lives together."
"We could run to the reef..."
"So that's it, we run to the reef."
As Lysander and Hermia develop a plan to marry Hermia's
friend, Helena enters.
"Hermia! Demetrius does not love me anymore! But I love
him, he is the one I want to marry!"
"Oh Helena, I am sorry to hear this. Lysander and I are
going to run away so that we may marry. We wish you the
best of luck with Demetrius."
"Hermia, we must go prepare for our journey. We will leave
tomorrow night."

"Titania, I want the Indian Boy. He has been
with you for far too long and now I am going
to take him.", expresses Oberon.
"Oberon, I was the one who found him when
his mother was dying. I have raised him from
birth! He is like my child. I will not let you take
him."
Oberon and Titania, the king and queen of
fairies, continued to fight over the Indian boy.
Having no reason for wanting the boy Oberon
became determined to get the boy.

Titania, I want the boy!

Puck, go and get the magic love drops...

Wait for me Demetrius!

"Puck, Titania is still insisting that she will not give me
the Indian boy. Therefore I have a quest for you. You
must swim to the coral reef and gather the magic potion
in on the blue and purple sea flower. After doing so
place the potion on Titania's eyes as she sleeps. When
she awakens she will fall in love with the first thing she
sees. Being that this thing will be a beast from the reef
she will be captivated by love, I will be able to sneak
upon her and capture the boy. But, my friend Puck, I
see two Athenians wandering these waters. The woman
seems to be love with the man who does not love her
back. After you give the love potion to Titania I instruct
you to do the same for the Athenian boy so that he will
fall in love with the very woman who loves him."
"My master, Oberon, I will do as you say and not let you
down", exclaims Puck.

Hermia, we will rest here for tonight
Hermia and Lysander continue their journey to
the reef. By the end of the first day of
traveling they decide to lay down and sleep.
Puck does as instructed by Oberon and places
the magic potion on Titania's eyes. However as
Puck seeks to do so on the Athenian boy that
Oberon has said Puck makes a great mistake.
Puck puts the potion on Lysander, not
Demetrius.
Puck feeling great about completing his quest
reports back to Oberon to tell him he was
successful.

As Hermia and Lysander sleep, Hermia
remains in pursuit of Demetrius. During her
pursuit of Demetrius, Helena swims over
Lysander awakening him. Lysander is now in
love with Helena.
"Oh Helena, it surprises me that I am in love
with you! But I do love you and I will do
everything I can to protect you, sweet
Helena!"
"Are you being serious. These jokes are not
funny. It makes me mad that you and Hermia
would mock like this. You two are in love.
Don't flaunt it for a good laugh!"

Oh where, oh where is Demetrius?

Lysander and Demetrius continue to fight over
Helena and Hermia watches in disbelief.
"Lysander, I will get Helena. Your are not
worthy of her heart!", exclaims Demetrius.
"Why don't we just fight to decide who will win
her?!", questions Lysander.
