This is for my senior friends and Mrs. Bass.

One day in a village far out in the middle of Canada, a town of people were gathered together for church one afternoon. They gathered every Sunday. The town members were like a family, each looking out for each other.

This is Tim, Tasha, and their dog Tag. Tim and Tasha love Tag as their own child, and play with him all the time. The family lived in the small town ever since Tag was a puppy.

One day, Tim was playing fetch with Tag. Tag was very excited and loved when Tim played with him. Tim played with Tag for an hour each day to get out Tag's energy.

Later on that day, Tasha took Tag for a walk. Then out of no where, Tag took off! Tasha ran after him! Tasha finally realized what he was running after.
IT WAS A SQUIRREL!

The squirrel ran up the tree, out of reach of Tag. However, Tag was determined! Tag ran straight for tree, and started climbing up it. Tasha was SHOCKED!

OH NO!
As Tag ran up the tree, the squirrel hopped to the other tree in fear of being caught. Tag suddenly stopped and realized the trouble he was in. He started barking and whimpering for help.

The whole community gathered around. The cop and firefighter tried to figure out how they'd get Tag out of the tree. They scrambled until one of the neighbors figured out an idea.

SOHCAHTOA!
"SOHCAHTOA!" someone screamed.
"Huh??" the people said confused.
"My name is SOHCAHTOA, and I work in construction. My job is finding measurements and angles of buildings to provide stability."

WE NEED A LADDER
I have one!
"Perfect! wait...what will we do then?" said the people.
"we need a ladder," says sohcahtoa.
Everyone scrambled around in search for a ladder until Ferris the firefighter offered his firetruck ladder

Relieved, the town cheered for Ferris.
Ferris stated worried, "But, I'm not sure where to lean the ladder to reach the dog and not fall over."
SOHCAHTOA chimed in, "We need to first measure the length from the tree to the truck ladder."

And 10 feet high

It's 17.32 feet
They measured it to be 17.32 feet.
"Now what?" said the crowd.
"Now we measure from the base of the tree to Tag." said SOHCAHTOA.
So they measured and it was 10 feet.
