The population:
The current US population has been formed by blending more populations from Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia
The black (afroamerican) population originates in Africa, and in the western US there are Asian (Japanese, Chinese)
There are a small number of aborigian (American) inhabitants, who were named during the colonization of the country, "red skins"
As compared to average density (28 places / kmp), there are regions with a very dense population (Atlantic coast, Great Lakes area) and a rare population (Stancosi Mountains, Alaska)
Urban population accounts for 80% of the total US population

Cities
There are some large urban agglomerations such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Miami, Boston, Washington, Pittsburgh etc.
It is believed that the northeastern US forms the largest urban concentration in the world ("megalopolis") which is called Boswash (between Boston and Washington) and has over 40 million locks
The US is a presidential republic, a federal state of 50 small states

The United States economy is very developed, being the first economic, political and financial power of the contemporary world. It is very diverse and modern, although it has an adversary on Japan
Natural Resources:
- hydrocarbon resources (oil, natural gas) have diminished due to their long exploitation
- coal, iron ore and non-ferrous ores are still very large and allow for long-term exploitation
Under these conditions, the US has to buy certain imported raw materials (oil, some ores, natural rubber)

Industrial activities:
- At the end of the last century, the basic activities were the exploitation and processing of oil and coal, the production of steel and railway equipment, and the processing of cotton
- At the beginning of our century, the automobile industry, the chemical industry, the electricity production developed, so that the whole of the American industry represents 1/3 of the total world industry
- Currently, the US share has dropped to 1/6, but it holds the main place in a series of top branches (computer equipment, microprocessors)
The US is the world's second largest oil producer, the first producer and consumer of natural gas, the second largest producer of coal, and also the world's first aluminum and aerospace and aerospace producer

Shipments
The United Statue of America focuses on the world's most diversified, expanded and modern transport network, as follows:
- railway (1/2 of the world rail network)
-maritime commercial fleet (8th place in the world)
-air transport (1/2 of the world's air network)
Of the top 20 airports in the world, 14 are American (Chicago, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, etc.)


Tourism
Tourism is highly developed and is an important concern for Americans
As the number of tourists is exceeded only by France and Spain
