There once was a monkey named 

Diddy who was a very clever monkey 

and always had ideas and things he 

wanted to make. he also loved 

bananas.

 A lot of his friends called him the Entrepreneur 

monkey, a monkey who uses all of the resources 

like, land, labor, and capital to make all of his 

banana products! Like a banna umbrella!

Land are the things he uses from the earth that 

are earth made like, sliver, gold, sulfur and 

natural resources (Gas, oil) and a lot of other 

things. 

After land. Labor is the fun part, the part where 

you get to build and construct your invention.

Finally you put in capital, which are man-made 

resources that are used to make goods. 

So since Diddy was so smart to put these three 

factors together he made a banana crane! 

Which was used to bring down bananas from 

trees!

It made his job a lot easier with his new 

invention.

Another thing Diddy did was selling banana 

goods like, bananas, banana cars, banana 

boats and a lot more of banana merchandise. 

. One of the main problems Diddy had 

though was scarcity, which is the basic 

economic problem. He would always run 

out of bananas to make things out of 

because we all know you cant rush the 

banana to grow even if you go talk to it 

every single day of your life.

So he always had limited time to make his 

things. With that happening he sometimes 

didn’t get enough money to make another 

invention because of the bananas not growing 

fast enough. 

Sometimes he would have a shortage, which 

is not having enough of his goods, which 

then he’s able to raise the price of the good 

that he’s short on and make them very 

expensive. He would only have 3 banana 

boats left and raise the price from 20 gold 

coins to 40 gold coins because he only has a 

few left and everyone needs one! 

So the Government, Donkey Kong, put a price ceiling and 

floor because Donkey Kong cared about all of his monkey 

citizens and always made sure they could afford anything they 

needed to succeed in the future. A price ceiling is when the 

government puts a limit to how much something can cost at 

its highest cost, think about you being at daycare and theirs 

only 7 building blocks and the teacher only lets you keep three 

because the other kids also want to play with the blocks. So 

your “price ceiling” is three building blocks and your not 

allowed to have more unless you want to sit in timeout like all 

the other goats.

Therefore a price floor is how much your 

allowed to sell something for the least 

amount of money. Lets say Diddy wants 

to sell a banana umbrella for two gold 

coins, but the government price ceiling is 

no less than four gold coins. Diddy then 

is then forced to sell them for four gold 

coins due to the governments, Donkey 

Kong, price floor. Which Diddy didn't 

like a lot because he thinks it should be 

cheaper for his customers.
