The life of soccer

Once upon a time a poor boy that lived in Mexico named Leonaldinho. He was 14 years old and he was a very good soccer player but his family didn't have enough money to pay the registration. He always play soccer in the school with his friends. All he wanted was to be in a real soccer team. One day he asked his mom. " Mom, "What can I do to get money and pay the registration?." and his mom said, " Right now you just have to worry about your education, your father and I will work hard so you can be in a team."

Leonaldinho's birthday was getting close and his parents had a surprise for him. Leonaldinho was in the school, it was Friday and the registrations were on Saturday. When he arrived to the house their parents told him, " We have a surprise for you, we have the money." Leonaldinho confused ask, " What money." Their parents excited said, " We have the money for the registration, happy birthday." Leonaldinho began to cry, he was so happy.

It was Saturday, Leonaldinho and his parents went to the tryouts. The coach asked him, "What can you do?." Leonaldinho told him," I can do a lot of things." The coach said," Well, Let's see what you have." Leonaldinho was playing very good. The coach was surprised, he was in shock. When the tryouts finished the coach asked Leonaldinho," Where did you learn to play like that? and Leonaldinho said, " I just play at home and at school with my friends."

" You would be a good soccer player." said the couch.

Leonaldinho made many friends but the two best friends were Jose and Carlos. They together were a good team, they always win. Jose always support Leonaldinho but Carlos seems like jealous about Leonaldinho. Leonaldinho always saw Carlos like best friend.

The people and the coach were so surprising about how the three of them beat all the teams.

The three of them won 3 championships in a row. Leonaldinho's parents were so proud of him. His parents took him and his friends to a restaurant. They were so happy. After they got out from the restaurant, a car passed over Leonaldinho's leg. His parents took him to a hospital. The doctor said, " Is probably that Leonaldinho could never walk again." The parents and Leonaldinho began to cry.

There has been two weeks since the injury of Leonaldinho. He is so sad because he would never be able to play again. One night he was in the window, he saw the stars and said, " Please, I just want to be a soccer player, I want my leg back and I would be the best in everything, the soccer is my life, please." While he was sleep all the stars began to shine. When he woke up, he felt his leg again, "This is a miracle" he shouted so happy.

He went to see how the training was going. When the team saw him stand up, they ran to him. The were so happy but Carlos seems like disappointed. Carlos asked him, " How did you recover from the leg?" and Leonaldinho said, " I really don't know, I just made a wish and it just happened." Jose was so happy for him but Carlos was like angry. Leonaldinho began practice with them. " I'm back." Leonaldinho said.
