Terrence the Turtle was a shy turtle who lived in Animal Land. He went to school and just like any other turtle, he was slow. People didn't really like to hang around Terrence since everyone thought he was a loser because he wasn't fast like the other animals.

Terrence the Turtle didn't have many friends at school and didn't get along well with the other animals, especially Tiger. Tiger would make fun of him because he was so slow and would lose all the races in P.E.

Hey, Terrence! How are you going?

Oh, hey Duck. I'm going well, how are you?

I'm not too bad. Are you sure you're okay? You look kind of sad.

It's nothing, Duck. It's just that the other animals don't like me since i'm so slow.

They think I'm a loser since I always come last in every race.

Hmm, racing... How about you challenge them to something you're good at?

Well, what are you good at Terrence?

I guess I'm good at swimming.

Then how about you challenge them to a swimming race? You'll beat them for sure, then they'll see that you're not a loser and that everyone has their weaknesses.

That night Terrence went home and started to plan out the big swimming race. He would definitely beat Tiger and Rabbit so that he could show them that he wasn't a loser.

Ok, so I'll meet up with them tomorrow at the river and I'll finally show them that he wasn't good for nothing.

I'd better get some sleep for tomorrows race.
