Misty is my best friend, we have been best friends for almost three years this coming July but have known each other since grade 7.

Internally this relationship is one of the best friendships I ever had. We trust each other with everything, we can talk to each other about anything and we are open to each other. We have loyalty, there is no worry at all that she will go behind my back, and we are always there for each other no matter the situation and go to each other for help. We have great communication skills, listening to others problems and fixing conflicts together, even though we live three provinces apart. We are also really honest with each other and know how to handle the other person when they are moody or sad. She is the sister I always wanted but never had. 

My mother always described our friendship as a true friendship. We never get into big fights about little things and constantly are there for each other. We understand each other and you could always see us together laughing. We have a lot in common too even though we are, at the same time, two different characters. She is headstrong and stubborn while I am shy and put others first. 

The symbol I chose is an arrow and bow. We belong together even though we are two different people and are mostly interested in different things but we fit together. And even of the arrow gets shot far away sometimes we never go too far away and always find our way back to each other.

Our common interest in writing and reading supernatural books- We both have a love for books which theme is mostly supernatural with a lot of action and a meaningful love story. She loves stories about Werewolves, she reads her books on an app while I prefer paper books, while I prefer supernatural books that are more about Angels or Fallen Angels.

Then, I got into writing my own series of supernatural books, I of course based one of the main characters off of her, and she jumped in on that idea too and started writing her own version of my series; just in her character's point of view. This is one of our strengths.

Mutual love and support of each others interests- It is not an unknown fact that Misty and I are totally different people. She likes superhero movies while I like anime and manga. She likes to wear shorts while I hate shorts. She's a dog person while I am a cat person. We are like the sun and the moon yet, just like them, we have support for each other's differences and love those the most about each other. I never have to worry about if she will think my interest is weird or not and I have mutual love for whatever it is that she is interested in even though it could be something that I do not like at all because I love her so much.

Trust- Trust is one of our biggest strengths because no matter how far away we are or what we are talking about, I can always trust her. There never was a time where I felt I COULDN'T tell her something, somethings were hard to tell of course but I could always tell her once I was ready.

I can also trust her with not being the person to talk bad about me or tell others my secrets. I would never do that to her either. And there never is any judgment either.

Willingness to stay and understand- The whole almost three years of our friendship we always stayed by each other's side no matter what. No matter if I did something wrong or she told me something about her family that would scare anyone else away but we stayed no matter what. We also stayed when the other was being distant or going through something that was hard for us. Nothing ever teared us apart even when we wouldn't talk as much as before but we would just understand and push to get to the bottom of it.
