Freddy was a happy fish. He lived in the ocean and had lots of other fish friends.
2

One day, Freddy was swimming along in the ocean. He looked up and saw Sam the Seagull stuck in some seaweed.
3

He swam, up toward Sam. Freddy was very scared for Sam so he swam very fast.
He was like a speeding airplane!
4

"Are you okay?" asked Freddy, when he finally got to the surface."No," Answered Sam, struggling against the seaweed's grip.
"I was flying through the air when I got tired and wanted to land.
I accidentally sat on this seaweed and now I cant get out!"
5

"I'll help you," Freddy said, "but you have to promise that you won't try tocatch me." "Yes, I will not eat you, Freddy. I promise.
Now please, help me out of this weed!" replied Sam
6

Freddy believed Sam and set him free. But Sam did not keep his promise. He soared up into the
sky and plunged deep into the water, barely
missing Freddy!
7

Freddy was scared and swam deeper anddeeper into the water. As Freddy was
swimming he stumbled upon Finn.

8

Finn, help!" Freddy stammered, his heartstill racing. "Sam promised me that if I
helped him, he wouldn't eat me but he
broke his promise!"

9

Finn followed Freddy back to Sam theSeagull who sat perched upon the rocky
shore as if he was the king of the sea.

10

"Hello, Sam" Finn greeted Sam as he would onany normal day. "Freddy told me that you hurt
his feelings." Finn continued

11

"I did nothing more than hunt what is mine! All fish in the ocean belong to me!"
Sam protested.

12

"Well," said Finn "If we're going to solvethis, we need to see how it started. Why
don't you show us how you ripped open
the seaweed Freddy?

13

"Now Sam, how did you manage to fit insuch a small bundle?" Sam, eager to prove
he was right clambered into the bundle.

14

"And Freddy, could you close it so I couldget a better view of how Sam looked."
Freddy closed the seaweed tight for Finn.

15

"And stay there, Sam. No one will help youever again."

16

Sam started crying, blue tears running down his cheeks first shyly and then
pouring like rain. Finn and Freddy swam
away.

17

"You hurt my feelings Finn" Sam cried."Just like what you did to Freddy" Finn
replied.

18

"I have learned my lesson. I will never hurt anyone's feelings ever again. I'm very sorry Freddy!" With that
Freddy ripped open the seaweed letting Sam out.

19

Freddy, Finn, Sam and all their friends lived happily ever after.
