“Ready for a summer road trip” i shout with excitement. My family was all packed up and ready. We were finally prepared for a 1 hour road trip down the coast. As we got to the bridge the traffic starts to get slower and slower. All of a sudden..it stops?

All moving cars and trucks in front of me stop! I was curious, I had seen most of these traffic stops in zombie apocalypse movies. Without fear, I step out of my car,  raising my head above the truck in front of me, hoping to get a glance at what had happened. Suddenly, I felt a thump! It got louder and louder by the minute. Waiting in a moment of silence, I hear a scream from the woman behind me that sounded like she had just seen a ghost. I look behind me and there it was!!  

A giant squid monster had raised up from the sea!! wrapping his tentacle around the bridge. It collapses into the deep ocean below us, everyone screaming for their lives  but standing right next to me was a dark anonymous figure. He stood beside all the slow cars, fending off the monstrous sea creature. I watched the monster slowly slide his way back into the ocean all is fine..UNTIL!..  The giant tentacled creature comes from behind me. He reaches out his arms, wrapping one tentacle around the moving truck in front of me, I try to keep calm, but the sound of screaming innocent voices powers into my ears. Scared and afraid it had just come to mind that my summer road trip had gone terribly wrong.
