Adam the ant, was a busy ant.

He worked very hard and barely sat.

He worked hard every season,

for only one reason,

 and that is to have food when its freezing.

Adam the ant did not have many friends.

He didn't have time to talk or reminisce.

As he walked along his path, he met a grasshopper named Matt.

''What are you doing?'' asked Matt.

"I'm getting ready for winter and this is my path." "Ready for winter?" laughed Matt. "that's so far away, why work so hard when you can just play!"

Adam ignored all what Matt had to say.

He enjoyed what he did, it's been always his way.

He walked and walked, not missing a beat.

That's when he met someone with so many feet.

"Well hello there." Said Shirley the spider. She asked the Adam if he would like to there beside her. "No thanks," Answered Adam. "I have to work hard for the winter." Shirley laughed and teased, "It's barely summer, see the trees and leaves? They are bright green and sway with the breeze. I will not work and enjoy my summer with ease."

So Adam continued to be well on his way.

It did not bother him what the spider had to say.

He found some seeds, so all his hard working was starting to pay.
