Since a young boy , Keith Carter loved the game of basketball at the age of five .He lived in a home that was built from his ancestors and since then the house has been passed down from generation to generation . And since then the house has been added on and worked on . It was an old ragedy house with cracked walls and broken doors and holes in the ceiling . It has 4 rooms , 1 bathroom and an attic . Keith's quarters were in the attic , because his parents thought it was fair he had his own room to himself , since he's the only boy . His sisters Katie and kori had the other two rooms and his parents had the biggest room. The outside of the house was red stone and white pillars that were bent in a little , the yard was small with no flowers and yellow grass and had a black gate surrounding it that had a door that made a creeking sound every time it was opened and closed. The windows were broken and cover with black trash bags to keep the cold air
from the dark windy nights. Luckily Keith had a window in the shape of an octagon view the streets of the neighborhood , and the lights of the big city.
Keith loved looking out his window , viewing the kids play ball and the lights of the basketball stadium on every game night. He remembers his first game he went to watch Kobe and Michael play . Since then he fell in love with the game of basketball. Every bounce every dribble and shot that was made. He soon began to imagine that he would play in those big games doing every trick the pros were doing , he would take an soccer ball and a basket and tie it to the ceiling of his room and began to live his dream in his room.
Growing up he began to play on the streets and allies with the big kids would try to play every run with them . Keith would be the smoothest kid on the streets , taking ranks from other children that could play but not like him.
soon the neighborhood would began to watch him and chant him on .
he was like the cool kid on the block. But as timed progressed and as he played every minute his shoes began to tare and the soles began to open and he couldn't play any more with the kids . He told his parents about what happened and tried his best to convince them into getting a new pair. But at the time his parents wasn't getting paid good checks . But they had promised him the would get some more shoes. Days went by for Keith without going outside and playing ball. He still would shoot on his room basket every once in a while. Than he began to remember the night he saw Kobe and Michael play and he remembered the shoes the players had on . But he really liked Michaels shoes , every kid on the block like him and his shoes , The Jordan shoe.
Any kid would be lucky to have one of his shoes , he said.
could you imagine the comfort of the soft fiber material.
He thinks to himself and remembers an old pair of shoes his dad worn at his age . He took those and cleaned them off and worn them and felt much better , there were white and had a strange symbol of an s , an had like an hard shell at the toe. He ran outside with those shoes band picked up his ball from the yard and began to dribble to the neighborhood kids down the street. He played sun up till sun down in those shoes , he played on every hoop , and played every game.
