Once upon a time, in a far away kingdom lived a Queen. She was called Queen Madeleine. She was a very, very kind queen but also a very picky queen. One day, she was sitting on her throne, giving orders to her servants when she was told she received an invitation.

“Your highness, you have received an invitation from King Charles. You have been invited to a royal ball,” said Edward, Queen Madeleine’s trusty servant.

Queen Madeleine started to panic. She did not have anything to wear to the royal ball.

Edward saw the look on the Queen’s face.

“Queen Madeleine, are you alright? You seem to look worried,” Edward asked, concerned.

“I have nothing to wear on the night of the royal ball,” Queen Madeline explained.

“Do not worry Queen Madeleine. I will find the perfect dress for you to wear on the night of the royal ball.”

“Thank you, Edward,” said Queen Madeleine, thankful to have Edward by her side.

Edward went off to search for the most beautiful dress for Queen Madeleine. The first shop he headed to was somewhere in Ponyville. He picked out a light pink dress and got back to the Canara, where the Queen was waiting for him.

“Your majesty, I have returned with a dress picked out for you,” announced Edward, proudly.

Queen Madeleine immediately began opening the bag. It was a pink dress.

She frowned. She didn’t quite like the dress.

“Have I done something wrong your majesty?” asked Edward.

“It’s just, it’s just too simple,” the queen told Edward truthfully.

“I apologize your highness. I will be back with a much better dress,” Edward replied. And off he went to look for a new dress.

Edward searched for a dress that wasn’t too simple as the queen had requested. He came across a dazzling dress. Surely Queen Madeleine would love this dress, thought Edward.

He returned with the dress, handing the Queen his bag. The blue dress came out, glittering in the sunlight. There were white pearls spread throughout the entire dress, giving it a unique look.
