The Story of Sadako Sasaki and the Thousand Crane Bird from Paper
During the World War I, many people were affected by the radiation emitted by the nuclear bomb thrown into Hiroshima, suffered damage and was exposed to the disease. One of them was Sadako Sasaki.

When the atomic bomb was thrown into Japan, Sadako was 2 years old.
He suffered from cancer due to the radiation he was exposed to in the last 10 years due to the atomic bomb. The 80-year-old woman, who was being treated in the same hospital, told Sadako: 1000 It is our belief that if a person makes 1000 crane birds from a piece of paper, it is accepted that he wants everything. I couldn't. . You do it and get rid of it.
The little Japanese girl started to make traditional Japanese art origami paper crane birds with the desire to survive. This situation first took place in the local and then in the international press. People from all over the world started sending thousands of crane birds to the girl. Sadako was able to make 644 birds. Health workers entered the room with hundreds of origami birds coming out of the mail. But the little Japanese girl has died. For months, postmen carried paper crane birds to the hospital. The number of millions of crane birds is on display in a museum in Japan Say
This story is the story of Sadako Sasaki, who lived in Japan between 1943-1955. The crane birds is the symbol of peace and nuclear disarmament ever since.
