especially under the setting sun. Deer have legs that are long and thin, while fawns

Their warm homes give them insects and leaves to eat.

Jellyfish live in the ocean blue, but we are able to see them at the zoo. jellyfish have many tentacles that can sting if a human gets too close.

Katydids look like a leaves, and blend well into bushes and trees. At night they love to loudly sing, and make music by rubbing their wings.

Lava explodes from active volcanoes, and can be dangerous like strong tornadoes.

Lava looks like fun to touch, but it would hurt a hand very much.

The Moon is a planet that we can see at night,

but when the sun rises, it fades from sight.

Nuts are a tasty snack for lots of people,

and are also eaten by mice, deer, and beetles. Nuts come in all shapes in sizes, from chestnuts to pecans, and are used to make pies!

Owls hoot and howl all through the night. Their large, round eyes might give you a fright!

Pandas like to lay and lounge while eating bamboo shoots that grow from the ground.
