Hello 3rd grader, i really hope you enjoy my book!

Once upon a time long ago, there was a baby named Emma, who was only 2 years old, and was dropped off in a jungle all by herself. Nobody knows why she was dropped off in a jungle, but she had a power, she was able to speak to animals. A tiger approached her, she didn't know what to do, she was scared and she couldn't move, but the tiger slowly came down to her and put her head on hers. This is how the story began, now let me tell you about their story...

8 Years later...
Now this tiger didn’t eat her, or hurt her, she acted as her mother. She got her food and water, and hunted for her. They lived very happy in their little fort made by the monkeys, Moka, Lila, and Koko, who brought Emma coconuts filled with creamy, smooth milk, but Moka and Lila live in a different area than them, so they don't really see them often. If you stood where the tiger and Emma have their fort, you could hear the dripping sounds of the beautiful teal and baby blue waters of the waterfall nearby. This is what it looks like:

This is where Zira catches fish for Emma. The monkeys build cozy, warm fires to cook the fish over, this is also how she keeps Emma warm. Koko is the smart one of this animal group. There is Koko, and an elephant named Steph, short for Stephanie, who cleans Emma by sucking up water in her trunk, and spraying it all over Emma, she thinks it tickles.
Then there is Kylah, the jaguar who teaches Emma how to hunt and get food for herself, she is very strong and independent.
She loves living in the jungle because it is so peaceful and beautiful, the only thing she fears is the dark. She hates it at night, so she makes Koko start a fire for her. Koko is the smartest out of all of the monkeys and knows how to do almost anything. Now let’s get back to where they left off

“Koko! Can you get me some water please? Mama wouldn’t take me to the waterfall, she had to go hunt,” Emma asked.
“Of course!” Koko screeched.
“Thanks Koko!” She smiled.
“Hey guys I’m back!” Zira roared with a mouth full of fish, she tilted her head downward as she walked through the leaves that were covering their fort. Zira doesn’t eat the fish she catches, she says they are too small to eat, so they aren’t worth her eating. Emma has always loved fish because Zira always fed them to her when she was a baby, Koko would cut them up into very tiny pieces.
“Mom, what are we going to do today? Am I still going to go swimming in the waterfall?”
“I was hoping you would like to come with me to go see Steph, I was going to give her some pineapples and mangos,” Zira told her.
"Ok mama, can she shower me?" Emma asked.
"Im sure she will Em," Zira replied.
"After that....?"
"Yes, you can go swimming in the waterfa---"
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!" Emma interrupted Zira.
"Alright Em, let's go. Koko, you want to come too?"
"Sure, thanks Zira!" Zira asked Emma to grab the basket filled with pineapples and mangos and they made their way to Steph, who was getting a drink from the river near by.
"Steph! Here, take these!" Emma handed Steph the fruits.
"Aww, thanks darling!" She told Emma as she shoved a whole pineapple in her mouth.
"So Steph, how are you?" Zira asked as she settled down into the grass, still sitting up.
"I'm great, thanks! And Emma I love your outfit so much, it's so colorful!" She turned towards Emma and whispered in her ear, "I'm kinda jealous! I wish it would fit me!" They both laughed.
"Steph, Emma was wondering if you could give her a shower," Zira told her.
"Of course Em! Come over here by the river!" Emma and Steph sat down by the river and Emma took off her dress. Zira walked over to the cliff to get a good view of the jungle below, and sighed.
"Zira, you okay?" Koko asked her.
"Yeah, I just feel like something is wrong, I just don't know what."
"Zira, I will be okay, do you want to go get some food from Kylah? She always goes hunting, I'm sure she has food," Koko exclaimed.
"Sure, hold on. Hey Steph?!" Zira yelled. Steph shook off her wet trunk and yelled back,
"Yes Zira?!"
"Me and Koko are going to go get some food from Kylah, can Emma stay here with you?"
"Sure! Em, wanna go swim in the waterfall?" Steph asked and she lifted herself up to look over the trees and see if the bears were still swimming, "The bears aren't there anymore, if you want to?"
"YEEEESSSSS!" Emma yelled.
"Alright, well you two have fun, bye!" Zira said to them. Her and Koko walked past them and smiled.
When they got to Kylah's part of the jungle, she greeted them quietly.
"Hey guys... Wait, I see something, it's small and its in that tall grass over there," She whispered to them as she was crouched down sneaking over to it. When suddenly they heard a small screech as she chased down a silky brown bunny with an odd small shape on it's back. When she finally got it, she brought it back to them and said,
"It's not easy."
"Well, good job Kylah," Zira said, "We came over because we are starving, and I need to talk to you."
"Well, you know I always have some food ready for you guys," She told them.
"I have been feeling like something isn't right, and it involves Emma."
"Oh no, has Emma done anything bad lately?"
"No she is a very good girl, I don't know why I feel this."
"Rabbit?" Kylah asked as she tossed a rabbit over to her and Koko.
"Thanks Ky," Zira said, "Do you think if I asked her if she has done anything bad she would be honest?"
"Emma is a very honest girl Zira, I'm sure she would."
"Thanks Ky, I might come back later, I'm not sure. Have a good day,"
Zira said.
"You too Zira, I hope this feeling doesn't last too long," She replied.
Back at the fort...
"So you haven't done anything bad, your sure?" Zira asked Emma.
"No mama! I haven't done anything except help you lately with a lot of thin---"
"OH. MY. GOD. ZIRA WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE WITH EMMA." Koko interrupted swiftly.
"Why? What happened Koko, your scaring Emma!" Zira said as Emma slowly backed away terrified staring into Koko's eyes.
"NESANTRA, I HAVE BEEN READING THINGS ONLINE ABOUT HER, THERE HAVE BEEN ARTICLES ABOUT EMMA AND SOMEONE IS LOOKING FOR HER..... NESANTRA!"
"Who is Nesantra?" Emma asked quietly.
"Come here," Koko told Emma as she jumped over to her computer. She pulled up the article she was reading, at first she had no idea it was about Emma, "At first, I didn't know it was talking about you, but know I get it!" Koko screeched, "Look right here, a girl named Emily was dropped off at a jungle at the age of two, and nobody knows why, or how. Help us find her, before Nesantra does, a six foot monster we thought was extinct, she wants to find her before anyone else does."
"Oh my gosh, is my name Emily?" Emma asked.
"Well when you were two, you told us your name was Emma," Zira told her as she stared at Koko.
"Wait, so we need to get out of here!" Emma screamed as she knocked over everything on the ground next to them. Suddenly she started
and screaming as she yelled,
"MAMA!!! NO MAMA!! I DON'T WANT TO GET TAKEN AWAY!! NO MAMA YOU CAN'T LET HER!! NO!!" She curled up into a ball and cried and cried,
her blood ran cold.
"Honey, you don't need to freak out, we will go to Kylah, come on guys." As they ran out of the fort to Kylah's place, giant footsteps stopped them in their tracks. They were frozen. Zira was the first one to turn around to see the six foot monster, standing right then and there in front of them.
"Give... Emily... Now..." Nesantra ordered.
"RUN EMMA RUN!!!!" Zira yelled as she stared into Nesantra's eyes, "I can take her."
"KOKO WE ARE ALMOST TO KYLAH'S PLACE!" Emma yelled, "GO GO GO!!!" Koko followed Emma as they dashed to Kylah's place.
