Augustine was getting very tired of sitting around her little home all day. She spent many days alone, yearning to visit her friends.

One day, she decided she wanted to venture out, and visit her friend, The Old Black Cat from The Opening in the Trees, that is!

So Augustine set off on her journey to see The Old Black Cat from The Opening in the Trees. She packed some cookies and some cakes, for an occasion like this must be celebrated!

She began skipping through the trees, her soul filled with joy.

Augustine had been too busy thinking of The Old Black Cat to realize that she must have taken the wrong route. The trees were unfamiliar, and it seemed as if she had come to the end of the walking path.

Augustine was getting very tired and frustrated. She decided she needed some rest, maybe it might clear her head a bit.

"Why so glum, my friend?" A voice above her chirped.

"Huh? Who are you?" She jerked around, trying to find the source of the voice.

"I'm up here!"

Augustine's eyes finally settled on a little gray bird perched upon a limb.

"Oh, hello. I'm lost." Augustine sighed.

"Well you've come to the right sparrow, my friend!" He smiled, cheekily. "I know this wood like the back of my wing!"

"Is that so?" A weight was lifted off Augustine's shoulders. "I'm going to visit my friend, The Old Black Cat, do you know him?"

"Do I know him? Of course I do! What do I look like?" He smirked.

"Oh thank goodness! Can you help me find my way?" Augustine smiled, her soul filled with joy once more.

"Of course, my friend!" The bird flapped his wings, and moved closer to Augustine.

"But I need something in return."

"Oh of course! Anything for someone willing to help!"

"Before I give you the way, I need help with solving a simple math equation, it's binomials." He laughed. "I need help adding (2k+8m)+(15m+7k), for a special project.." His voice trailed away.
