What is Meh- Hindi?

Indian people do things on there hand called meh- Hindi (I think that's how you spell it). Indian's wear it for Divali, and other Indian celebrations.

What is Divali?

Divali is something to do with lights in India. It shows how lord Ram got Mother Sita from raven. Lord Ram needed these lights to find his way back home. It has a- lot of definitions like, good over evil.

What is the story of lord Ram and Mother Sita?

Lord Ram always carried a bow and a few arrows around. He is a form of Lord Krishna. Mother Sita his wife was taken by a demon called Raven the most devoted demon in the under-world he prayed to Lord Shiva my favorite. Lord Ram had to ask Lord Shiva if he could kill demon Raven.

Can I kill Raven?

Yes

Shiva said Yes. So Ram did and took back Sita.

Who is Shiva?

Shiva is like the God of War. But instead, he is the god of death. He has a wife that takes a-lot of forms also, that made a-lot of children (Demi-Gods). Lord Shiva has a Snake called Naga rapped around his neck. He is my favorite. Shiva holds something called a trishoule you may call it trident.

Who is Lord Ganesh?

Lord Ganesh is the god that removes all obstacles, problems. He has the biggest celebration in India, he has one of the smartest minds. . How he got the elephant head? that's next.

How Lord Ganesh got his elephant head?

One day Lord Shiva's wife was going to shower but, she didn't want his husband (Lord Shiva) to come in while mother Parvati is showering so, she took a piece of clay and mold it in to a small boy; that was very strong.

One day lord Shiva and his guards came to see his wife but, he saw a little boy guarding the house. Shiva asked if he may pass but, the boy said no. So he asked his guards to kill this boy and they tried but they died. So lord Shiva snick up behind him and cut of his head. But, when Parvati saw this she turned into mother Durga. The most strict of all.(Remember Parvati has many forms)

She yelled" WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SON?!". Lord Shiva said" Please calm down my precious wife, it is okay I will get a new head for him. So, lord Shiva got a new head (elephant head) for lord Ganesh. And lord Ganesh is very smart because, he has a mind of a elephant.

Beautiful book; I am sorry that I didn't put a lot about mother Durga, mother Kali and others. It hurt my hand a lot writing this book. It was a very good detailed book with lots and lots of information in it, I hope you enjoyed this book a lot because I did. I probably did or did not put in your favorite god; but hey unless you got to learn something new or not!
