There is always a plus and minus in life, for me minus is the thing I am afraid of, there is no way to break out of it. Everybody knows that I, Asteane ( as-teen), am a nobody. My plus is however my family. They always love me and take care of me like I am a baby. But there is still another bad!!! I just moved to Marcervill ( Marser-will) and I don't know how to live through it.

school started today. Ms. Abdino introduced me to the class. I am not anybody on the desks. You see the girl grinning for no reason and holding an orange backpack? that is me! the girl in the front left with the pink dress is Calibri, and she wasn't the greatest friend of mine. I saw through her eyes that there was an instant Hatred between her and me. She often used her sarcasm.

At recess I was sitting on the bench alone. I was missing Katherine, she was my best friend at Calloin. She probably got new friends now and forgot me. a girl from my class walked over to me. " Hello, I am ruby, want to be my friend" she asked with a grin. Of course I did! if she didn't ask to my friend I would just be a boring old friend." Sure ruby" I replied

The bell rang as soon as I agreed to be Ruby's friend. She held my hand and we were whooshing through the playground. " time for lunch" she shouted. It was hard to hear because all the kids were screaming. She stopped when we reached a beautiful garden. It had benches, she told me that this school always had lunch outside. I discovered the thing I like about shallow river middle school. Ruby sat down on a table and I followed. She peeked at my lunch, I just got a cupcake, apple juice and a bread and garlic salad. I shrugged as she drooled.

The rest of the day went like that! after school Ruby asked me a question..." where do you live" she brought up. " on river rose street, want to come to my house" I don't know what I just blurted out! "wait-"I started. " sure, I would love to!" she finished. I groaned. she walked with me home. I introduced her to my mother who was baking cupcakes. Ruby licked her lips and had already decided to stay until the cupcakes are done.

We each picked a cupcake and sat down on the dining table." Do you want to see my room?" I asked with pleasure. " Yeah!!!!" she cried, the sound echoed through the house." oops!" She whispered sheepishly. I ran upstairs and opened the door, there were still things to unpack. She gasped." wow!" she exclaimed. I shrugged. She had to go home soon.

After Ruby left, mother and me had a talk. " did you have fun?" she asked enthusiastically. " yeah!" I replied. suddenly I had a thought. It struck my head as fast as a bullet." mom... can I call Katherine?" . she smiled but her word did not make me smile. " sorry honey, her mom is really busy and Katherine is at her camp. she can call you later, kay?" she said. I want to say something but I can't even hear my own words. I wiped my tearing eye and went to my room.
