Dedicated to my two awesome, adventurous, and amazing little sisters, Lovina and Jena. I love you with all of my heart and will never forget you. I am so happy you're a part of our family. Your big sister forever, Ana.

Poof! “Caught you!” Jewel raced with her friends as they were playing unicorn tag. She was just one of the many magical unicorns in the lush, green fields near the Magical Forest. She was one of the most beautiful unicorns in all the land. Her hair was the colors of the rainbow and her eyes twinkled in the sunlight. She was a pretty, soft, and white unicorn. Her dream was to have a loving and kind family. She had been orphaned as a pony when her parents died in an accident. Yet, she still had her best friends, Violet and Bella, to keep her company and play with her.

One day, Jewel was out in the forest collecting some magical gems to share with her friends. She saw a mysterious figure in the distance. It’s probably someone just passing through the forest Jewel thought. So, she went back to collecting her magical gems. “Good morning,” The man was now behind Jewel. “Ahhh!” Jewel screamed. “Sorry I scared you my lady. My name is Wrigley, the magical wizard of the forest.

You look just dazzling today," he exclaimed. "Thank you," Jewel replied sticking her nose in the air. "Would you let me try a spell on you to make you even more beautiful," he said hopefully. "Well, sure!" Jewel exclaimed happily. Then she closed her eyes and the wizard cast the spell without waiting a second. Then jewel turned to thank him, but he had already left her. That's weird she thought to herself. So, she walked back to the village proudly. “Jewel this has happened once before,” Bella exclaimed. “Oh, I remember,” Violet said. Violet explained how there once was a unicorn long ago that trusted a wizard of the forest. He said he would give her the most beautiful voice in all the land. And she trusted him and the next thing she knew she was turned into a Llama and had the most horrible voice in all the land.“At least you’re not that bad,” Violet exclaimed. “How did you get turned into a llama?” Bella asked. Then Jewel explained everything that had happened. “How did the other unicorn change the spell?” Jewel asked. “Well, she found a human family who believed that she was a unicorn. Which means you must find a human family that will believe that you’re a real unicorn,” Violet exclaimed happily. “But I don’t know any human families!” Jewel yelled.

She ran away in embarrassment, holding back tears. She ran as far away as possible until she bumped into a young three-year-old. "Hello, I'm Jena," the little girl said a bit startled. She can help me jewel thought. “Are you a llama? Jena asked. “I’m not a llama I’m a unicorn,” Jewel tried to say, but it only came out in a humming sound. Jewel started gathering colorful leaves and a big stick, and then she started neighing. "A unicorn!" The little girl shouted. Jena brought Jewel to her home.
"Mommy, Daddy, sissies!" Jena yelled. The family ran outside to see what was wrong. "I found a real unicorn!" she shouted with glee. "That's a stinky llama," Ana exclaimed. "No, it’s not!" Shouted Jena. "Yes, it is," Ana and Lovina said in unison. "Girls, I need all of you to take the llama back to the forest," their mom said. "And don’t go too far!" their dad added. "OK," they agreed.

As soon as, the girls reached the forest Jena took out some sweet peppermint from her pocket. “Want some?” Jena asked her sisters. Of course they wanted some because they loved candy so much. Just as Ana and Lovina were reaching for some, Jewel ate the whole handful! She loved candy, as any real unicorn would. “Really?!” Ana and Lovina said together. “Well at least her breath doesn’t smell anymore,” Lovina said. “Llama’s can eat candy?” Ana asked. “That’s just weird,” Lovina added. “I told you! She’s a unicorn!” Jena explained. “Oh Jena,” Ana said while petting the llama. “Can I ride the unicorn?” Jena asked hopeful. “Sure,” Ana replied. Ana lifted Jena up onto the llama. Soon enough the girls had reached the point where their dad had told them to stop. “Okay, time to stop,” Ana said to Jena. Suddenly, Jewel had an idea. If she could take the girls to the Magical Forest, they would believe she was a unicorn. Without wasting a second, Jewel darted off so fast that the girls could not keep up. “We’re coming Jena!” Lovina shouted. “Hold on!” Ana yelled as she jumped over a giant log in the middle of the path. Once Ana and Lovina caught up to them they were covered in mud from head to toe and had twigs in their hair. “How are we going to explain this one to Mom?” Ana asked. “I don’t know,” replied Lovina. “That was fun!” Jena said. Ana and Lovina knew that they would have to shower right away when they got home because Mom would never allow this mess inside the house.

The girls looked up slowly, they saw the magical unicorn village. The trees in the village were made out of peppermint sticks and the houses were made out of gingerbread with tons of frosting on top. Jena couldn’t believe her eyes and ran to one of the trees to lick the peppermint! They even had giant chocolate fountains! When the girls were looking around they saw that each and every unicorn was unique in their own way. Off in the distance, there were unicorns playing unicorn tag. Jewel’s favorite game where unicorns shot sparkle clouds to tag each other. They all gasped in amazement. "You are a unicorn! But how did you turn into a llama?" Ana asked. "An evil wizard turned me into a llama," Jewel replied. "You can talk too?" Lovina exclaimed in awe. "Yes," Jewel said looking away at the ground, "and the only way to break the spell is for a family to believe that I'm a real unicorn." "We believe in you!" Ana replied encouragingly. So, they walked home with Jewel to tell their parents the exciting news.
