Stephen king was born on September 21 1947 at the Medical Center, in Maine, Portland. His mother was, Nellie Ruth and father Donald Edwin King, He had only one older brother named David King. His father left him at the age of two years old and claimed that he was,"Going to get a pack of cigarettes." but never returned.

Stephen KIng graduated from the University of Maine in 1970, then later worked as a teacher when working on his writing. While working on his writing he met his wife, Tablitha King. They later got married on January 2,1972.While teaching he published his first horror novel, Carrie under the publisher Richard Bachman witch was a huge success. .

Still working on his writing he later continued to live his life and have children. HE had three children, His oldest was his daughter Naomi born in 1970. next was his son Joe who fallowed in his fathers footsteps and became a comic book writer. Then Finnaly his youngest son Owen who also became a writer.
