There lived a girl named Frankie. She had bad luck. A bad life. She was homeless. Frankie didn't like this. Still, Frankie's family could survive. From food, people gave. And a shelter. Made from a cardboard box decorated in paint, of little kids and a small house. Frankie made this when she was a toddler.

Frankie had also been thankful of what she received. She liked what she received. Indeed, so did her whole family. They didn't care what they got. Unless, if they were thankful. Frankie was born as a nice, simple, normal girl. Her family's genes made Frankie like this. Onto generation, and generation, Frankie hoped.

One day, Frankie found a dog next to a power pole without a leash. It looked very famished, with tears in its eye. Frankie felt so bad, she started to tear up into salty water drops. She told her mother, pointing at the poor dog. "Awww", Frankies mother said. The family was about to eat their pure buttered bread, when Frankie snatched it out. She scrambled to where the dog was.

People gasped and started whispering about Frankie snatching her family's bread. They glared at her. They thought Fankie just stole bread from some people. Frankie saw all this action at once but didn't care. Frankie leaned beside the dog, having a look on her face which meant; Dont worry, I will make sure you get all the things you need, to survive. The dog kind of understood Frankie, and nodded. It licked Frankie's face.

-Whispers-

Frankie giggled a bit, but then said "okay." She picked up the dog, as the fur was getting in Frankie's cheek. Frankie chuckled. Frankie sighed when she was near her parents. "M-mom, D-dad? Can I-I -keep t-the-" "The dog?" Her mom finished the sentence. "Y-yeah..." Frankie replied looking down, at the ground. Her parents looked at each other and nodded to each other. They looked up at Frankie. They nodded.

Frankie was so happy. She started twirling in circles. She could actually have her very own dog! She stopped and looked at her parents, who were gladly smiling at her. Frankie hugged her parents, squeezing them. The dog slightly moved, and them was excited like Frankie. "Hmmmm...", Frankie thought silently, "Maybe I should call you-". An interruption came. "Fetch Bart!" A boy called to his friend who were playing frisbee. "Bart! The perfect name!"

But I'm pretty sure this is a girl... Frankie thought. Hmm... Briana! So Frankie decided to call the dog Briana. Frankie forgot the collar! Frankie noticed the dog was wearing a collar earlier. She checked it. "heart-tart." Pretty good name. But Briana is better! Frankie went over to the trashcan to find a Sharpie. She did. She found gloves on the street, and wore it. She dug in the trash to get the Sharpie.

Eww!! It smell's horrible!

So when Frankie was done in the disgusting smell of terror, [In the trash / garbage] she crossed out the name on the collar and wrote briana. Frankie sighed deeply and noticed Briana was dirty. So she picked it up and went to a drain rushing with a huge amount / flood of water. Frankie placed Briana on the puddle of the water. And she placed her hand on the hole of where the draining water came out. so the water won't heavily go on Briana.
