This is a story about me. Melanie. I was born on September 3rd 1995. I was born in Boston, Massachusetts. My full name is Melanie Rachel Miller. My mother is Ava Lee Miller and my father is Cohen Adam Miller. We also have a dog named Willow. Willow is at my soon to be home.

When I went home, I started crying my eyes out. It didn't feel like the hospital anymore. It looked different, smelt different and even tasted different! (Don't ask) Willow was on the floor and looked confused. She just kinda stood there. But she was cute. Mom and Dad brought me to my new room. I felt much better.

Soon enough, it was my fifth birthday. All my friends from school were at my party. My parents gave me a very special surprise that I was super happy about. I was getting... A new baby sister! I was so excited I ate up my whole cake in one gulp. I was so excited I ran out the door and screamed! Then, I calmed down a little.

Today was the best! It's been 10 months since my 5th birthday and my mom was in the hospital and she was giving birth! I am getting a new baby sister! Her name is Grace Julia Miller. Grace is my great grandma's name I think. We went home and Grace was so annoying! I'm done with my little sister! I'm putting Grace Julia in the garbage! Hopefully a garbage truck comes and squashes her right up! Okay, I'm not serious. BUT I AM!

Ever since Grace was born mom and dad have paid zero attention to me! I bet if Grace wasn't born, It would be all about me! IT'S NOT FAIR! Mom and dad hate me now I'm telling them how I feel! They said they love us equally but that's not true! They're very mad at me and are grounding me for 2 whole weeks! It's just not fair!

Okay, it's been two GROSS weeks and I'm finally un-grounded! I went strait downstairs to apologize to my mom and dad. Oh, and my baby sister Grace. I pet Willow like 1000 times until she bit me and ran away. My parents said "We're sorry too, Melanie Rachel." And I said whatever and dashed away.

The next day, it was the worst. Well, not really but yeah. IT WAS SCHOOL! Just another day of education. When I got to school I got called down to the office. I sat next to Aaron Craftsitk. Mrs. Darsauce said I couldn't go to school anymore 'cause I wasn't learning enough. She said I must be home-schooled. I didn't know what that went so I just said Ok, Thanks! And went back to class.

When I got home I told my mom what Mrs. Darsauce said. They were very upset with me. I asked what home-schooled meant. My father said it meant learning from home. Mommy said daddy had to work all day and mommy had to watch Grace all day. She is getting me a tutor to come everyday 'till high school! That's in like, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Yeah, 9 YEARS STRAIT! Now, that is a long time.

9 years later... I haven't wrote in this journal forever! I'm in grade nine now and my tutor is over. Anyways, I have to do my algebra now. Bye!!!! For now. Oh yeah, we moved 5 years ago when I was in grade 4.

My sister Grace is in my room. I better play Barbie's with her. Oh yeah, she's nine now. Ugh. I have to play with her.

It's the next day and my parents told me some great news and some horrible news. The bad news was we had to move again all the way from Minnisota to Calgary. We are moving to another country. The good news is I won't be needing a tutor anymore! Does that mean... JOHN WON'T BE MY TUTOR ANYMORE! I-I-I have to go and um... I'll see ya later.

It's been a month since we moved. I'm loving Calgary! A great thing about it is John Ummer is my next door neighbour! I'm gonna go over and uh... say hi I guess! Anyways, before I do that my family is watching a movie called "JAWS" I'm liking it so far. Oh here comes an attack! Bye!!!
