Henry Ford was born on a farm in Michigan on July 30th, 1863. form an early age Henry loved fixing things and learning about machines. When Henry got older he left the farm to work at the Michigan car company, where he made railroad cars. over the next few years Henry had many jobs of similar interests.

Before Henry Ford innovated the automobile, the car was very expensive and only high class people could afford it. It wasn't very efficient because it was very slow and couldn't travel far. The people who couldn't afford a car had to take other transportation that was even less efficient.

The cause for Henry’s innovation on the automobile was so that he could make it more efficient for the common people. He wanted people to have a quicker and more affordable way of traveling around. Cars before Henry’s innovations were not efficient enough for long periods of time, and Henry changed that.

Henry Ford had a lot of effects on different things when he innovated the automobile. The time it took for people to travel long and short distances changed. The amount of people who could afford it increased because of the production and prices of the car. but those were only short term effects.

Long term changes were things like companies and new technologies. Many more companies were created and were producing new technologies for cars and more innovations. Moving and traveling became even bigger and people were moving/traveling more than ever around the world.
