There was a time a long while ago when the phone was completely unknown. Messages were sent with paper and pen, and sent by a horse drawn carriage. The message would travel across the country this way until an inventor by the name of Alexander Graham Bell found a whole new way...

Bell had traveled across the land with his mother and father hand in hand. He dreamed of creating a breakthrough, a wonderful invention to sweep the waiting world of its feet. He knew that history could surely repeat so many famous inventors had done it before. The light bulb, steel and so much more had sent America into an age where jobs and money where galore.

He had a most pleasant idea to help his mother who couldn’t hear so he worked and worked waiting for an idea to appear. He discovered that vibrations from sound could be transmitted through electricity and back again in an instant.  He sent word to his partner Watson ,and was very insistent on this new idea he called the telephone.

They worked and worked to get it just right, all through the day and all through the night. To perfect his wonderful voice transmitting machine he had no idea how much this would mean.

He traveled the world to show his invention but there was one thing I still need to mention. While his invention was amazing and new with capital it would not make it through. He needed investors to save the day and give him some money so he could pay.

He found someone that was willing to support the growth of company, J.P Morgan. He pitched in some money, gained part of the company, and the sales quickly flew! Telephone wires, factories, and more! Telephones were popping up at nearly every store!

He made so much profit and the business grew! Supply became higher and prices got low, now the poor could afford a “luxury” such as phone. Bell invented for the phone for many reasons but even he could’ve predicted how rapidly everything changed...

Soon enough in every city and town, telephones were abound, extending in the air like twine and string, they connected everyone to everything. Anyone almost anywhere could now communicate with people they appreciate.
