Every time I moved to a new school it required a lot of adjustment. You have to get used to new rules, new teachers, and new classmates.

is for bravery

I had to show bravery in new and uncomfortable situations! This allows you to stay true to yourself.

is for connections

I was able to make so many new friends and connect with people all over the world!

is for daunting

Having to go to a new school was very daunting, but after the fear passed it was so worth it!

is for entertaining

I got to meet so many people that taught me so many things! They have entertained me with stories, friendships, and laughs.

is for focused

You have to remember to stay focused! It is easy to focus on being the new kid, but you have to remember, you are also there to learn and grow!

is for genius

Do not let the new information overwhelm you into forgetting how incredibly smart you are!

is for homework

Don't forget you are still a student, and a new school means a whole new type of homework!

is for inquisitive

I used to be scared of asking questions, but I soon learned by being inquisitive, I learned more and had more fun!

is for jester

Don't forget to have fun and laugh!

is for kid

While this is a big task, you have to remember that you are still just a kid, it is okay to be scared and nervous.

is for learning

No matter where you are, school is for learning!! Learn from your teachers, from your classmates and from yourself!

is for movement

Growing up, I moved states 7 times! This meant I was able to go to lots of different schools. Know this is normal and lots of other students are also experiencing movement!

is for name-tags

New schools are full of name tags! Take the time to make your name memorable and to learn the names of your classmates!

is for overcoming

Going into a new place is an obstacle you are going to overcome! You just have to believe in yourself and know that you can do anything.

is for perspective

Remember that even when everything seems hard and scary, take a step back and reevaluate from a different perspective! Try and maintain positivity throughout everything.
